Just like other reviewers suggested this is your no frills Chinese Restaurant of decades ago. Tasty food, all home made & casual friendly service.3 of us ate entrees, rice & 2 meals for under $60.

Best restaurant in the area. The fried rice is a meal all on its own.I’ve been eating at the Hong Kong Palace since my 16th birthday - 38 years ago and it’s still our go-to takeaway every month despite moving elsewhere, then returning with a husband & child. It’s inexpensive, the beef & seafood dishes are excellent, tender & flavoursome. They serve a large variety of lamb & chicken meals. The soups and all the entrees are very filling with decent portions. Guests from overseas are stunned at the great quality, personal service & speed of service.

Fantastic Chinese takeaway that's been around for ages, the couple that run it are really friendly. The food is always good and really cheap. I love the sweet and sour pork. It's mainly a takeaway and nobody is ever sitting inside so there is always seating available when i go in.

This is a family-run Australian Chinese place just like the one you remember from childhood. We tried it when me moved to the area recently and it’s easily some of the best Chinese of this style that I’ve ever had. The portions were good and everything was really fresh and delicious. Can’t wait to go back.

Food was reasonably priced. We ordered 2 soups, my son said his combination short soup was a winner. Special fried rice was good. Sweet and sour pork, the batter nice and crunchy, as was the pork in plum sauce, and nice chunky veg in them both, but while my son enjoyed them, I found both sauces a tad bland. The service was good, and next time we will take drinks as it is BYO. Yes, I will go back.

Very average. We had the “Pack Meal for 2” for $44.50. We chose Chicken with Cashew Nuts and Sweet n’ Sour Pork (2 of the most common dishes so if you can’t get those right, there is something wrong). I would describe the food as edible but not great and would not go back again to buy. The nicest part of the meal were the tiny spring rolls. I don’t feel great writing this as I got friendly service on the phone and at the front counter from a nice lady who is probably part of a family business BUT I used Google reviews to guide my purchase so am posting this so others know not everyone is giving this place 4+ stars.
