Horrible service. I use Aussiebroadband and whenever there’s no internet every odd week it’s because opticomm is having one of their common unplanned outages; every other week it is a planned maintenance. Whenever you call Opticomm for an update to see how many more hours their outage is gonna last, you can wait for 20mins-1hour, and there’s a high chance you’ll get to position 1 in queue and they hang up before answering. Unfortunately, my area is one of the few without NBN.

Absolutely gobsmacking terrible service. Our internet has been on and off the past 3 weeks. It would be off for 3-4 days at a time, we would contact them. They would ask for a photo each time, as well as to switch it off and back on again after a minute, which never worked. Then they said they had raised a ticket and I should wait for Opticom to call and organise a tech visit. 4 days later, internet is back on. Cancel the tech visit. 2 days later, back off. And repeat the whole process above.4 times now. In the span of 3 weeks. No history of complain saved, always the same reply. A tech called at 7:45pm, I missed the call, they left a barely comprehensible voice message, very thick Indian accent. I called back, and it says please call during business hour. But you didnt call me during business hour?!I wanted to change ISP, they said to pay $199 early exit fee. but then I pay for internet service without the actual internet? And I can't get a single person to do their job to actually check, and call a customer back??

I've been a Launtel customer (Sydney) for the past 3 years who uses the Opticomm NSW network. Use to be part of the LBNCo but I believe they have been merged into Opticomm. Pretty solid connections with little unplanned downtime. Speed is also solid (100/40) on fibre (FTTB), however would like the option to upgrade to something higher but there isn't any option to do so.

Utterly appalling service. We've had constant drop outs every 20 minutes for the last 3 weeks and we are still waiting on a date for a tech to come out!They have no interest in their customers apart from taking their money

A bloody disaster. They are bloody clueless. They dont know what’s going. First they needed a serial number of my unit and after they got it should take up to 24 hours and here i am two days waiting. Then they said to my provider he needs a technician but after a moment they are like umm nah he doesn’t need technician but we are still working on it to get it connected. I really hope the internet is better than the people working there but now i am having doubts even about that. I wish i can give these guys bellow 0 reviews cause they are useless and hopeless since i am still waiting for my connection

I would not recommend any user to buy or build a property that is serviced by the Opticomm network. I am at the stage where I am looking at selling my property to move to an area that is serviced by the NBN.I have been offline for over 2 weeks. You cannot deal with Opticomm directly as they are a wholesaler so have been working with my ISP.I logged my original fault with my ISP on Tuesday 9/5/23, Opticomm got in touch with me on Tuesday 16/5/23 with an on-site appointment for Friday 19/5/23. The on-site visit did not resolve the issue and it had been identified by Opticomm that it was an issue upstream. Work had been scheduled to be completed on Tuesday the 23/5/23 to resolve the upstream issue. This again has not resolved the issue.This is affecting multiple residents in the suburb I live in and they still cannot resolve the issue.I have spent countless hours on the phone to my ISP over the last 2 weeks who are trying their best to work with Opticomm, but their support and NOC teams are not getting this resolved within an adequete time frame. If we look at an annual service level agreement (SLA) they would be performing under 96% which is unacceptable.

Can't even provide reliable FTA TV!!!!My townhouse has Opti and I haven't connected the internet yet. After 10 months of no issues, antenna signal randomly drops out to nothing. Absolutely zero % on TV search. Logged fault with Opti on the 12 Feb. Took them to the 17th to get back saying they'd be another 2 days before an actual response. Good luck also trying to contact them by phone.Get back to me saying indeed from their side, there is an issue with the system and they'd need to get someone out to check it and repair it - plus a breakdown of all the potential costs.Costs?! To fix your own infrastructure that is barely out of warranty?! Needless to say, it's now 24th Feb and no-one has even been in contact to ARRANGE the visit, let alone actually attend site.This is meant to be the best fibre system available in the country. Yet not even the TV signal has lasted a few years, and now they want to charge to fix their own shoddy product.Moreover, sad to say that after searching Whirlpool and Google, this is a well known issue, and the Opti CEO Stephen Davies seems to blame customers for their services breaking down. Claiming also there are no issues on Opti's side. Unbelievable.

Opticomm is absolute trash, I pray for anyone who deals with their horrible service. I got my modem installed 4 days ago and I haven’t been able to use the wifi since. They are absolutely scamming people for their money. Please avoid opticomm while you still can.

my internet outrage started from Wednesday until Monday ( 5 days), no one to contact to, worst service ever. Called them on Thursday, just said wait. Yeah have been waiting for 5 days. I am going to change my service provider
