Coogee Bay Boutique Hotel

We recieved a room upgrade and enjoyed a beautiful king room with ensuite and balcony overlooking the beach. A late check out was offered which meant we could enjoy a morning walk and swim before checking out to enjoy a long and lazy lunch at the Coogee Pav.

We absolutely loved this Boutique Hotel. After arriving from a delayed flight, including lost luggage, we thoroughly enjoyed a blissful and stress-free 5 day stay here. From the warm welcome (thank you Linda!), to the impeccable rooms, and diligent cleaning staff, we couldn't fault our stay. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at the venue twice, on either end of our trip. Was very impressed with the deco and how the preservation of the hotel has been maintained. Beautifully refurbished to reflect it's Art Deco glory.Did find our stay on our return in the older section, overlooking the courtyard was loud, & we had to keep the balcony doors closed. This went well into the night, so don't think the older demographic should be placed in this section. Maybe something worth noting at the booking stage, & for guests staying over the weekend. It's better suited to partygoers.We weren't aware that the check-in was at the same location for both stays either. We were wandering around near the courtyard looking for Reception until the staff advised us to head up the hill to check in. It may have been due to the fact that the receptionist on our first check-out advise we were staying at the 'other' hotel on our return.Staff friendly & helpful.

Overall its a great accommodation. Great location and convenient to public transport and to the beach The room is very nice and has a great touch of interior design. It would have been good to have breakfast during the week and a selection of food and beverages in the bar fridge which would be handy afterhours. Unfortunately I didn't get to try the food from the restaurant. But I would definitely stay again.

Nearly everything about our stay was fantastic.Loved our room, the location, the staff, the food, the beach, the atmosphere, Coogee Beach Road ..........Only negative is your alcohol prices over the bar - seriously guys, in excess of $31.00 for a pint of beer and a small (low tide) wine?Be responsible in this regard and you'll have it all.

Booked two nights but was so disappointed when I had to cancel the second night due to work pressures. The location and facility was beautiful. We had a balcony suite and loved the view of the ocean. Our room was beautifully furnished and the bed so comfortable. I will definitely be back for again.

We stayed 2 nights. The hotel had everything we needed. It was super clean, the staff was excellent! We ate at one of the restaurants, had room service and was very satisfied with the food and service. I loved the hotels old photographs on the walls. And especially liked the music band photos in the older hotel. Thanks for a terrific stay we defiantly be back again.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and can’t get a much better location!Would have liked somewhere to dry our wet bathers and beach towels after going to the beach each day.Beds were very comfortable. Pillows a bit soft, but that’s such a personal choice.Air conditioner system didn’t work on the first night. It was actually blowing hot air, plus it was a hot night. Called the office the next morning and they sent a maintenance person. We went out so it could be fixed. We never received an apology, just would have been nice. The air conditioner in the master bedroom was very noisy, although this blocked out the sound from outside (which we were aware of in the room description).Getting beds made each day and fresh towels a couple of times was beautiful.

Really good location with ocean near by, however, for those who like to sleep in quiet room it might be an issue. Very nice room. Hotel with lots of photos of rock stars. In each room there is a book about all rock stars, how cool is that. I really recommend the hotel. Restaurants around are very nice.
