I have been going to Rare Earth Hair for many many years. The Staff there are like my family. They always take good care of me & make me feel special. I highly recommend this Salon.

Donna and the Team are always super lovely. The welcome massage and complimentary drinks also make for a relaxing time. Have been going for years and keep coming back despite moving further away. Highly recommend.

Rare Earth is the salon I keep coming back to, even after moving a good 30minutes away.I was recommended this salon over 10 years ago by a friend, and having moved overseas I returned to Melbourne in 2019 - I tried another more local salon to tend to my tresses with less than satisfactory results.I pulled the pin after three attempts, and made the call back at Rare Earth. I had been away for 3 years, and it was like I never left.My colour was returned to it’s glory (an effortless auburn), and I always enjoy the feel of the salon.Each stylist that looks after me, does their utmost to make me comfortable and welcome.Some days I like a chat, other days I like to zone out and close my eyes listening to the hum around me.My current stylist, Laura is an absolute delight and does a great job of styling my hair just the way I want it (beachy waves with blunt ends )A luxe salon without the pretentiousness.

I have had Laura and Chiara cut my hair before. They are both lovely, take a lot of care and have done great jobs.I have curly, difficult to manage hair and have been to other more expensive salons that have made me feel self conscious or forced products on to me.Not at all here. Very warm, friendly and down to earth service ☺️

Love this place. I had my first balayage/cut done by Anne (now on maternity leave), the result was amazing - natural blonde with honey tones. She was attentive to what I wanted (plus she's super nice and funny!).Now I get my hair done by Laura - just as great, perfect result every time! :).Huge bonus: the welcome massage before the service starts. I wish I could come every week! So relaxing.Thanks so much

I highly recommend Rare Earth Hair. I recently started going to this salon. As I entered the salon for the first time, I received a very warm welcome. The staff are down to earth, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I am very happy to have discovered Rare Earth Hair - everyone there is friendly, the prices are reasonable, and my stylist Jade is terrific. They also offer the usual Aveda extras like a neck massage and tea/water. Finally, it's very easy to travel there by public transport. Thumbs up!

Rare Earth Hair provides a fantastic client experience, from an easy to use website, to a welcome massage each visit and friendly service in-salon. Donna is a highly skilled stylist. I leave the salon with a great cut and colour each time. Expectations more than met! Thank you to Donna and her team.
