Kirby Vacuum Cleaners

I had a vacuum cleaner they couldn't help me with but the staff professionally and kindly pointed me in the right direction. Much appreciated the service and assistance.

My elderly Mother in law lives in McLaren Vale, SA and has had a salesman barge into her house uninvited yesterday. She never invited him in but had forgotten to lock her security screen door and he walked straight in. It took her over half an hour to get him to leave and he said he would return or call Monday.Please please do not let any of your people back to her home. She called me very shaken and scared after this experience. It has taken us 3 years of her living on her own for her ro not call me every day scared and to have this happen has now put us straight back to square one. I am a busy mother of 4 and work full time so you can imagine, I just do not have the time to go over there every day. Now thanks to your rude salesman I am back having to do that. Is your company going to pay the money for all that petrol? She has cancer so is unbelievably vulnerable with her health too and to have some stranger barge in when Covid is at it's worst ever here in SA is downright scary, insensitive, irresponsibly and quite frankly rediculous. To not have the health and safety of our older citizens in mind is irresponsible and it has absolutely cemented my view that I will never buy from your company. Get with the program and use your brains. Disgusting behaviour.

kirby greeted me at the door, good place

I needed bags & replacement belts for my very old Kirby vacuum cleaner,I contacted the store,gave, sent details & photos, within a few days they were delivered at my door,I highly recommend them for repairs, replacements or if needed,a new Kirby,my Kirby was purchased around 2003,still works pefectly.

Had a salesperson come to our backdoor via an open gate and through our backyard. It felt very intrusive for them to enter our property, quite scary really. He was very pushy and wouldn't take no for an answer, and we were on our way out. He was not invited onto the property and waved for our attention through our kitchen window. Not a good way to get business.

Today I had a technician come to service an old kirby I have. He was very pushy, kept trying to tell me anecdotal stories as to why people buy new machines, even when I cut him off and said I won't be buying a new one, he continued to waste my time trying to hard sell to me. I DO NOT like feeling pushed into a corner and that is how his tactics made me feel. Unfortunately eventually I caved and agreed to a new machine, partly just to get the whole thing over with because it was taking my entire sunday afternoon!. Cut to when we are discussing the payment plan, he comes over to show me what to do on my phone, instead of giving me some verbal steps or instructions, he takes me phone off me, opens the link to humm, scrolls very quickly to the part where it details my monthly installments, says so it tells you your payments are x amount here and if we scroll down and hit agree (pushing agree HIMSELF) then my phone will go off and its done". His phone then dings and I realise he's just signed me up. I had no time to think and didnt even get a chance to look at the information or terms before HE selected agree! The tone and way he said it made me think it would just go to a new page where he wanted to explain something else to me. Had I known that was it I would have grabbed my phone back and taken time to read the FEES I was not told about. I am so unimpressed by the entire thing. Left an incredibly sour taste in my mouth and I will never have them back to service it after this"

Nice people but seem to be slow at resolving problems

Great young Salesperson, Max. Demonstrated the superb Kirby vacuum cleaner with confidence and a very friendly approach. Very good product.

Jacob and Steven came to do a demo cleaning job today, but unfortunately I had to get to work earlier than anticipated and was unable to keep the appointment. (I had rung the office this morning to let them know, but was told they would still come past anyway, on the off chance I was home).Both guys were very informative on the product and very friendly. I was unable to book again for the weekend (it was offered to me), due to work commitments.
