Just wow! I love this cafe. I've been here for work functions and Sunday brunch. The food is simply amazing, coffee is strong, staff are attentive and friendly, service is fast, and prices are good. The open space, smell of roasted coffee, and beautiful jungle of plants create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Dog friendly (at the front only) and guest wifi are a plus. Centrally located in Richmond with plenty of parking for convenience. Thank you for the cupcake surprise for my daughter's birthday. Highly recommended!!

Ambience is amazing, so was food. Especially, corn ribs, they were so delicious. It was very different sides. Would love to go there again with friends.

My partner and I held our wedding celebration in December last year at AU79 in Abbotsford, and absolutely loved everything about this venue.We held our ceremony in the front room and reception in the large space out the back. We had around 90 people attend with a sit-down dinner service which was towards the limit of capacity but still had room in front of the bar for a dance floor.The aesthetic is stunning, we added bare minimal decorations or flowers etc. as the plants and industrial look speaks for itself. This was one of the main reasons that we chose AU79 as it is so beautiful! This also saved us money as well.The 3-course dinner was delicious and there were lots of options to choose from, including for a cocktail event, for a 5-course dinner or for an optional oyster bar! The drinks were high quality and bar staff very approachable.The brick wall down the side is amazing for photos as well!Do note that if you have your ceremony here the earliest start time is 6pm as the cafe runs as usual during the day.Julia the events coordinator was extremely helpful, flexible and friendly through-out. Thank you so much Julia for everything - we really appreciated it!We couldn't have been happier with how our night went - highly highly recommend AU79 for both an event or for a delicious coffee :)

Thoroughly enjoyed their seafood linguine, the portion was quite large. The spinach & feta danish & the almond croissants were quite crispy too.

Gorgeous venue. Filled with beautiful indoor foliage, plenty of natural light, large airy spaces. And the food is just as beautiful and satisfying. $29 seafood linguine, but the dish was filled with a very generous serve of juicy & fresh seafood! Yum.Been here a few times. It never disappoints. Thank you!!

Simplicity at it best served inside what looks like a Roastery cum cafe..Portions look small but by the end of it you are satisfied with flavours, good coffee and an experience that's worth every penny.

Menu was good size, not too much to confuse you into not being able to make a decision though. Very good feed and great coffee. Service is spot on and staff very nice. Atmosphere and decor was nice inside, very spacious but still warm and very comfortable to get out of the Melb cold. Good amount of parking in the area as well. Highly recommend eating there.
