the marbling was too good to be true. found out it is artificially introduced beef fat when i googled. Took a longer cooking time than normal steak. tasted like there is cooked fat in the steak. My family does not like it coz the fresh taste of a pure steak is missing.

This steak is unreal. Tender, flavourful and consistant quality every time. There is nothing fake about it. I live in the Manning Valley so we have no shortage of quality beef, and this as good as anything you'll buy from your local butcher

Don't bother ordering this steak" if u ever see it on any f&b outlets menu. Although tenderloin or striploin are not copyrighted words

I love marbled beef but this product has a strange texture and flavour. It's tender and juicy (no doubt) but the texture is like a cross between a sausage and a hamburger as opposed to a steak.

If there is half start I would rate with half. It is event not as good as normal cut of Scotch Filet from your local supermarket.

This meat (sirloin and scotch fillet) was sold to me in a very deceptive way at a farmer's market in Gosford by Craig Kosiak. I did not know what Meltique" beef was and there was no mention that it was a meat product that is artificially injected with fats. I was after a nice steak and was sold this processed garbage. When I asked where the farm was I got some BS response about it being up North. When I mentioned I had never seen marbling on sirloin like that
