I received my new Samsonite suitcase yesterday. The handle was faulty where I had it inspected by Samsonite head office in Mulgrave today. The technician said he doesn't have the part cause it's a new model and I have to wait 1-2 months for it to come in so I thought I would call a repair place like 'The Repair Place. When I called up, I was told I would have to pay $65, where I told her I just bought it online brand new. She said, that I bought a faulty product cause I bought it online. I told her they have 4.5 stars and it came in a brand new sealed box. She keep trying to tell me how faulty the product is where she came across as rude and passive aggressive. She said I might have to pay even tho I told her that I just had it inspected by Samsonite head office and they said it's covered under warranty and the handle needs to be replace. She keep running me down on how bad of a person I was for buying it online so I told her I think I'll call someone else and hug up. She left a very sour taste in my mouth!

We haven't received such excellent service in any other shop in Australia so far.My Samsonite Spinner had two wheels broken. The expert in the shop checked for parts in the storage and exchanged them right away. After 15 minutes we were able to roll out of the shop again: with my luggage case. Dan (the owner i guess) is really helpful and professional after I explained that my luggage needs to get fixed within 4 days before my flight, luggage was fixed even one day earlier than arranged date, I will even bring my wife’s miumiu handbag when I returned home. Highly recommended!

High quality work and customer service. Very knowledgeable, friendly, effective, efficient and reasonably priced. I needed a wheel replaced on a 30 year old Samsonite, and they found a fix and returned it as good as new in less than a day. This is the place to go if you need luggage repaired.

I recently brought my 1980's combination lock briefcase in for repair work to the locks.The guys here are very professional,knowledgeable and extremely pleasant to do business with.My case was expertly fixed very promptly at a fair price.I am very happy with the job and highly recommend this business.

Just be careful that when you bring a bag in for a warranty repair that they are crystal clear whether it is a warranty repair or not - otherwise you might have a rude surprise when you go to pick it up and they want hundreds of dollars having decided that it wasn’t covered by warranty after all. They would rather undo the work they’ve done then honour their original assessment. Maybe next time a phone call to your customer would be best before you do redundant work.

I found these guys online and exchanged emails to find out whether they'd be able to fix my vintage leather bag, especially since it was a long drive. Glad I did, they did an amazing job and even fixed a wobbly bit I hadn't asked for. Would definitely return there to repair my designer bags.It's a small, family-owned place, but don't be deceived..these guys know their designer bags!

I found this place by chance after finding out Walk along Luggage repairs wasn't open early after the new year.The Repair place was and I am glad it was the pricing was much more reasonable and for more work then what Walk along Luggage repairs had quoted me for which was quite expensive for what was needed to be done.Glad that I took my golf bag to these guys they had it fixed quick smart and even gave me some tips on how to extend the life of my zip's, Not to often that a business helps someone like that.I rate this company an A+ from the customer service to the workmanship and if I have anyone needing a luggage repair I will be sure to them your wayCheer's Guys
