Pond Cafe
Unfortunately we didn’t even get the chance to order food as no one wanted to serve us. I had my 93 year old nana with us and we eventually ordered coffees but quickly realised that no one was going to take our food order…we paid for our drinks and left. Disappointed with the service…I’m sure the food is nice but we will never know…they lost 6 customers that day.

⭐️Beef brisket sandwich - superb!!Juicy meat and the bread is nicely toasted, with fresh vegetables in it.10/10⭐️Pulled pork burger - not bad, quite juicy8/10⭐️Breaky burger - perfect condition for the egg8/10☕️However, flat white was not as nice as expected, especially after drinking Higher Ground's flat white yesterday.6/10

This is a quant seaside cafe in Torquay that serves excellent coffee (Ethiopian beans I think) and a good variety of food too with seating inside and outside. The long black was excellent, as was the spicy chicken, beans and rice bowl. My son liked the breaky burger, and the poached eggs were good value too. Friendly staff as well, so I would visit again.

I read about this café on Broadsheet so I had high expectations. I recently visited on the one wet and dreary day of the whole trip. The cafe was very cozy and was quite busy with everyone wanting to escape the rain. The seating is tightly packed. The surfer vibe is warming and I really liked the contemporary design. The space was nicely decorated, with comfortable tables and chairs. The location by the beach was fantastic. The service was fast and friendly. I was quite uncertain on what to order but the waitress suggested the brisket sandwich which was really good. I personally wanted the bread toasted a but more but was crispy. The brisket itself was tender but was a bit dry. It’s above average but tasted like it was missing something like a spicy or tangy sauce. I also had a flat white which was very good. All in all, a great spot for a relaxing meal with friends or family. The beans are from seven seeds which is known to be one of the best roasters in the area!

Fantastic location on the Esplanade for brunch; outdoor and indoor seating available. Tasty and healthful options on offer. Service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

Brew coffee had a bright acidity, which was nice(from seven seed roasters). Beef brisket and sourdough were properly toasted. Nothing extraordinary but it was comforting after a long drive.

Good coffee, excellent food and nice staff!And even perfect location easily access to beachThe quality of food and coffee was good.Pork benedit has juicy chopped pork belly as topping and breakfast burger has stuffed fully with different layer of ingredients which I found perfect combination altogetherHighly recommendable
