Stayed here overnight on our road trip. Parking is right out the front of the rooms, it's on the highway but the traffic noise was minimal. It was clean, the bed was comfy and the owner is a very friendly and welcoming guy. Overall had a great stay here

Very clean. Well located and the owner is superfriendly and goes out of his way to help. I arrived late and tired. He had turned the air con in my room and stocked it with milk so I could get a rest right away. Next day I needed a late checkout to finish several zoom meetings. No problems at all. Thanks!!!

Room 8 was a good size for a family, beds soft and bathroom was nice. But the pillows need to be replaced as they made it impossible to rest well

Stayed 2nd November 2021Staff pleasant and accommodating to our needs when we broke down in our work truck. Room was fresh and clean plenty of room and had everything we needed. Shower nice and big over all very happy with our stay. McDonald's right across the road for breakfast lunch or dinner. Pubs close by for eating out with shops close by.We would highly recommend Moondarra Motel for a business over night stay, or even family staff were certainly helpful.Robyn & Jamie

Jim was really helpful. Room is large and very comfy. Only slight issue is the main road can get a little noisy but not until the morning. I'd stay here again.

We were upgraded to a family room. Incredible amount of space.Have been used to many Aussie bathrooms not having a vent-fan, but this had classy old-school glass shutters a can of air freshener.Almost a full kitchen! (no oven, but movable burners, microwave, spacious mini-fridge and counter, kitchen knives, cutting boards ...Window screens on bathroom windows very caked with dust/grime, but getting at that can't be easy - it's certainly nowhere near average eye-level. Hopefully a seasonal project, though!Minor complaints:1) All but one of the outlets were on the kitchen wall, at the opposite end from the master bed. The other is several feet up and inside the bathroom, which a longish cord will reach, but only if you either unplug it every time the bathroom door's closed or just never close it completely (it's sliding anyway). Also could be rectified if you relocate the dining table & chairs - all beds are on rollers! Only the master is on the heavier side.2) Air conditioner hums rather loudly - probably enough to keep more sensitive folks awake. In summer, of course, that might be a reasonable trade-off, as long as it keeps doing its job!

Friendly, extremely helpful owners and staff. Went out of their way to accommodate us. Will definitely stay here again. Had everything we could ever want in a motel.Car park right outside door, clean rooms, door on the shower (none of those half door things that we have been seeing all over North Queensland that spill water out all over the bathroom floor). Everything we need to cook our own food, and close to shops if need to buy. Great size room too, with good size kitchen bins, sink and with very efficient air con.Country relaxed style. Awesome value for money. Simple old style motel like they used to be, with great customer service.

Thanks Jim for your hospitality AND a very well presented room. The Moondarra is close to food and fuel outlets which make it perfect for overnight or a few days. I will be staying there next trip.

The 2 nights I had stayed there was fantastic staff and manager where friendly and super helpful service was excellent. The rooms had air conditioning, beds where really comfortable and rooms really clean when I go back to innisfail I would stay there again and highly recommend it and price not bad really enjoyed my stay
