I have been going here a while now. They do a fantastic job with my two huskies. They have only ever done what I've asked which is wash, brush and clip the nails. I don't mind them using cages for my dogs because it keeps them safe!Even if they are the most loving animals I'd rather them be safe in a cage then fight with someone else's dog. I mean let's be honest here, less then 1 hour in a crate is here nor there. I highly recommend them and they treat animals really well.

Very accommodating, quick and very reasonably priced. Did a great job with my baby who really doesn't like having his claws clipped.

We have been going to Darren for 5 years and the dogs love him. They are so excited to see him and come out looking fantastic.

Do not go here. I took my dog Max here after reading the 1 star reviews below and decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and wish I didn’t.We have a ten year old golden retriever (Max) and my Dad took him today to get groomed.When my Dad arrived someone met him at the door and took Max and dragged him by his collar across their foyer. My Dad called out to tell the female worker to stop Max was literally being choked across the floor.When my Dad brought this up later the owner said that, “sometimes they have to do it to manage difficult dogs”. My dog is not difficult at ALL, he literally sleeps next to my cats every night with no issues.When Dad went to pick up Max after the appointment, he saw cages out the back that the dogs are kept in whilst they wait to be picked up. He also heard the cage open to let Max out. Max does not need to be caged as he is a ten year old docile dog. I consider that completely old-fashioned and inappropriate.All of this has made me feel disgusted. A dog groomer should be patient and caring, not impatient and rough. Dogs need extra support when with strangers - if someone can’t even assist a 10 year old docile Golden Retriever to walk two metres comfortably I’d had to think about what they do to other “more difficult” dogs. Poor Max.

We took our 13 year old border collie x in for a groom yesterday after googling local groomers and thought these guys had good reviews (I didn't realize all were quite old.) We told Darren we would like our old girl washed and brushed and her nails done. (all sounds good so far right)When my mother in law picked her up and sent us photos we didn't recognize her as he had clipped her down to the skin but left her tail and head fluffy without blending the lines so she looked quite bizarre. Her nails were also not done and she seemed out of sorts last night.The groomer had left by the time she was picked up so we couldn't speak to him.I called him today to check in, if this was my business I would want to know if someone wasn't satisfied but he didn't want to hear what I had to say, he did tell me to bring the dog back (no way am I doing that to her again ) and if she was cut he would have taken her to the vet he works in.I am a vet nurse and understand animals can be funny and difficult at times, I also know when an animal has been cut with clippers (it happens, but please just let the owners know so they don't pick up their fur babies and get a shock!)I have had border collies groomed a number of times and unless we ask they have never been clipped down to the skin. Darren also informed me that she was muzzled when he was drying her head as she became distraught (not what you want to hear when you leave your fur baby at a new place..) ALL the other groomers have called us to say the animals aren't coping and have towel dried them as not to upset them further.We were charged $105 for this groom, will we return-NO! Which is sad as we were hoping to find a local groomer we could trust.I sincerely hope this was a one off but by the sounds of Darren when I rang to chat about this I doubt it.(I have attached before and after photos and you can decide...)
