Hot Dollar

Worst customer service and bad bad quality helium balloon inflation.Balloons fell after 20 min.Very expensive and poor quality.They are refusing to return money.NEVER WILL GO BACK AGAIN

The prices are super cheap!!! They have basically everything for diy and other crafts. I cannot reacal bad staff, though. The staff are very friendly and usefull when i come. I come atleast once a month!

I don’t know if they don’t understand english or have some ego problem… worst experience so far in Australia… DO NOT RECOMMEND…

There are a good range of items here especially for costume, parties, knick knacks. They also have a balloon service here too. Their prices are above average for dollar store items. The service isn't too bad even though the guy here could relax a little more. Slightly pricey dollar store.

Not even making an effort to sell me what they have on display. I lined up. I asked the lady at the register how much is the balloon arrangement on display, the one right in front of us. I explained that I am wanting to buy an arrangement exactly like that, how much wouldit cost. She replied with “Too hard”. I wasn’t sure what she meant so I asked again, thinking she couldn’t possibly be refusing to sell me their own products and services or refusing to atleast try and find out the price. She repeated again “too hard”. There were 2 of them. I walked out of there really confused. What exactly is the point of this store?? Are they selling stuff today?Could this store be replaced with something useful maybe. 22/05/21.

This is the second time I had a really bad experience. First time, I didn't leave a review, thought she was having a bad day or something. But yesterday again, me and my friend visited the store and just asked for a balloon arrangement and she rudely replied I don't have time

I frequent hot dollar to purchase craft supplies, Knick knacks, home items, celebration cards, wrapping paper, party supplies and special little finds along the way. I have been shopping here for over 10 years and have never been disappointed with the quality of their products.

If there was an option to put a negative rating, I'd do that. The list of things wrong with this place is endless.1. Staff doesn't speak english very well which is fine if they are not trying to compensate for it by acting rude.2. I went there for helium balloons but the lady at the counter wanted easy money without even bothering to answer a few basic questions.3. They advertise that their helium inflation prices are lower than that in other places but in the name of difference in size or some lame excuse, they'd end up charging you more.4. Their trick is to yell n embarass the customer for no reason so that a nice customer would just shell out money to avoid getting into any conflict.5. Some random person would call you back if you ever call at the store who'd provide the wrong information, as the store front ladies would simply deny to that information.6. They ruined my mood so much on a very special day by being very rude and yelling at me that I was almost left into tears. I am never going to that place again.7. People deserve a better shop at that spot instead of these people who themselves sell very substandard stuff and then question the quality of the balloons that one buys from BigW.Advice: Stay away from this place and do yourself a favour by visting Kmart instead

My wife brought own balloon to put helium in it for the kids birthday. Paid 5$ and balloon was going down and not up. It is reused balloon from last year and it had helium before. My wife was not brave enough to fight about 5$. They must have mixed to much air to helium (if any helium at all as it falls like a rock). What a scum service.
