The Metung Hotel
Family-friendly place. The bistro was quite busy, but we got the last avatable table (but it was school holidays).The waitress was friendly and helpful, the food was good (double cooked lamb shoulder) and the beer was cold. What more could you ask for.Have already booked a table for tomorrow.

We had a great lunch looking over the water. Service was quick and the seafood was incredibly fresh. We had the seafood platter for one and calamari (pictured). They even had a local Metung Hotel Lager! Make sure you book prior to coming by so you get a spot by the window. Be warned, limited vegan/vegetarian options.

On Monday night Ordered the steak with potatoes and coleslaw. Asked for the steak to be cooked medium -well, but arrived over an hour later over cooked and tough. Very small amount of potato on the plate. My feedback would be if a pub is going to charge $45 for this meal, at least cook the steak to customers liking and be more generous with the potato.

If you're looking for delicious comfort food in a casual and laid-back atmosphere, look no further than The Metung Hotel.My group had the lamb shanks, steak and the burrumandi. By all accounts, all three dishes were well prepared and delicious. The portions were generous, and the flavors were rich and satisfying. The steaks came with fries which were crispy and golden, and the sauces were flavorful and perfectly complement the dishes.One of the things I love about pub food is that you canb grab a cold beer, making it the perfect pairing for a relaxing night out with friends and the ambiance in The Metung Hotel was friendly and inviting.Overall, if you're in the mood for delicious and comforting food in a laid-back atmosphere, you can't go wrong with The Metung Hotel. Lovely view at the local pub. Menu is extensive for drinks n food. Best to book ahead and go early as there is a wait for food of abt an hour at peak. The prawn spaghettini was my fav. Chicken parma was average. I will give the fish n chips a miss. There are kids meals as well so great for families.

Nice place for our lunch down on the waterfront . Seafood platter for one was good, the Sirloin steak was fair, cooked nicely with a good pepper sauce but the steak was a little tough. The chips were great...

Great location with excellent food. Eventhough we waited almost an hour before we were served, we were vs very satisfied and happy with the food. The crispy pork belly was amazing and the pan fried while flounder was tasty. Bookings are a must and be early. Amazing views from the restaurant.
