I recently had Mat & Tracey from Hill Built Joinery replace my old yellow 20 year old kitchen, and cabinetry in my 2 bathrooms and laundry.From the beginning, Mat & Tracey were very informative of what the many options were available of what they could do and recommendations in the way of colours, material types and available mechanisms, such as my two awesome magic corners. At the beginning I had no idea of what to do or what you could do, I’m a bachelor :0.They were extremely professional and communicative in the process of design, adjustments and installation. The schedule they set for the production of the cabinetry and installation was spot on, all with a very competitive quote. The quality of the cabinetry is perfect, I’m amazed with Mats’ workmanship, and based on my rudimentary skills with a measuring tape, how it all fit into place so exactly.I never thought I’d get excited about a kitchen, but now I have a beautiful huge stone bench kitchen with ample storage. The pantry I have (my old kitchen didn’t have one) is a brilliant feature and very convenient. Features like my appliance corner with a pull down roller door to hide its contents and my bins draw, really remove the clutter that infested my old kitchen.Tracey organised/negotiated the details with my stone benches for my kitchen, bathrooms and laundry (they don’t charge for this service) as well as a kitchen we were doing at the same time in the apartment upstairs. The result of these negotiations was quite a significant saving in costs, and spectacular benches.My apartment looks a million bucks now, they have truly done an amazingly awesome job, I have a lot of respect for the precision of the organisation of the development of the kitchen (I think Tracey’s the one on the phone and emails) and the exceptional result of the cabinetry production by Mat. He said “it’s a game of millimetres,” and it really is, watching the stone guys slide the bench tops into place, the sinks and mixers fitting perfectly, the plumbers and electricians each installing their parts, and it all co-ordinating like a dance, with Mat and Tracey the maestros.My only problem now is what to cook?Thanks a million Mat and Tracey.

Tracey and Matt were fantastic. They have now done the wardrobes, laundry, bathroom and kitchen cabinetry all to an incredible standard. The are very professional with awesome communication. Could not have been happier. Thanks so much Tracey and Matt.

Hill-Built Joinery recently completed a kitchen renovation for us.To say they were excellent, would be an understatement.Matt and Tracey, alongside their team from the get go were delightful to work with.We had a tight budget and even tighter deadline, their team have been extremely graceful with managing our requests and have delivered a beautiful kitchen that went above our expectations.If you're looking for a small family run and local business, look no further than Hill-Built Joinery. Matt and Tracey were fantastic to deal with, friendly and helpful. They spent time to ensure the cabinets for my kitchen, laundry and bathroom were well planned and also made new doors for the bedroom & hallway cupboards. They both made great suggestions and were helpful with style, colours, bench top advice and anything I needed. When there were a couple of things to be fixed at the end, they came back and completed the work to my satisfaction.

Full transformation! We wanted to stay local and choose a family run business instead of being just another number in a queue. Matt and Tracy came and did a measure up in our home in Palmwoods, quickly did we realise there was no need to get another quote and these guys were honest and reliable people. We ran through some options, best practices and formalised the design. Couple of weeks later and some changes, the kitchen came to life. Couldn't be happier with the service and honesty, a fantastic business to deal with and a great family :)

We worked with Matt & Tracey to design, build and install our custom reception desk at Kondalilla Eco Resort. They did such a beautiful and professional job that we got them back to do the same for the kitchen & storage area in our conference/retreat room (total winner). And now we have them coming back again to design & build another kitchen on the property. We couldn't be happier with Matt, Tracey and the team, their client centered and solutions focused attitude is a credit to them. Their work is precise, high grade and they leave the place spotless.
