Motel Maldon

Having grown up in Maldon (and moving away) I have known the motel my whole life.It is just as charming staying as an adult as I remember it being when visiting a previous owners daughter for play days as a child.Heritage appointed (good size) rooms, very clean, and a really nice atmosphere. A credit to the current owners. Will definitely stay again.

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful garden setting. The rooms are well appointed with old world charm which really fits with the heritage feel of Maldon. Whilst some places with 'heritage atmosphere' can be tacky and run down, Motel Maldon glistens with the loving care of new owners Olivia and Adrian. Gorgeous place. Will definitely be revisiting.

Lovely comfy rooms, very clean. Adrian & Olivia were friendly, it felt so relaxing sitting out in the gardens, choosing one of the charming settings. We hope to stay another time.We had a great 4 nights last week in January 2023.The Sutherlands.

Hotel Maldon is a rare gem, unlike most hotels it is set in quiet and peaceful surroundings, there are beautiful gardens and cool shade to relax under. The rooms have nice old world decor and are cool and quiet. Olivia and Adrian are wonderful hosts and I am looking forward to my next stay.

We stayed in this absolutely charming motel with friends for a weekend. The rooms are immaculate, beautifully appointed with lovely attention to detail. Great heating, we were snug. There is a pool and much to our delight the owners were happy for us to have a little cold dip in the morning – water was crystal clear. The surrounding gardens and courtyard are just lovely; all the rooms open out to this communal area. It just feels like a tranquil little oasis. Lots to do in Maldon itself (all within 5 min walk) with fantastic cafes and restaurants (we dined out twice). Castlemaine is only 15 mins or so away, with markets, Botanic gardens and lots of other attractions. Cost was so reasonable, great value and Oliva and Adrian could not have been more accommodating or gracious. We will definitely be returning

A little gem not too far away from Bendigo..great cosy place to spend a night or two to getaway.. Hosts Adrian and his wife were plesent and helpful... feel free to give them a call to request any needs..

Maldon Motel (formerly Eaglehawk Motel) is an absolute gem. And it's made even better by the lovely hosts Adrian and Olivia, who couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly.One of the motel's highlights are the beautiful gardens and refreshing pool. It's simply a beautiful spot to slow down and relax, and enjoy all Maldon has to offer.

I stayed here recently for work - the owners were absolutely lovely and helpful, making sure we knew how to use the barbecue and Adrian would set up the fire pit for us in the evenings. I especially enjoyed the garden/courtyard during the morning.Some kind of dish washing/sink facility in the barbecue area would be a great addition for dishes.

We recently stayed and had a wonderful time visiting Maldon. It can really make a difference when you have such a beautiful place to stay. Motel is very comfortable and the surroundings are peaceful. We stayed for 3 nights, however it feels like we have been away for a week. As it was quite hot it was really good to have aircon that was more than adequate. Yep the bed is as comfortable as the photos look with beautiful linen etc. and it has good water pressure in the shower also. This is a neat, tidy and clean Motel that Olivia and Adrian look after very well. If you get enough time go for a swim as pool and surrounds are very nice. Maldon itself is a great little town with a fantastic Bakery, beautiful shops, a lolly shop and an excellent Hotel with very good and well priced meals along with nice people.
