This is an institution dedicated to providing legal services to public. Building is well maintained and seems historical. Calm and quite atmosphere. But I was strange to see formal dealings like a commercial house. You have to see at reception and not allowed to freely see legal experts. The volunteer at reception take you issue, discuss with some person and return to tell you, Sorry

Ned was super helpful and patient in explaining the issues and avenues to be explored in relation to a disputed rental agreement that was not in the standard form of a NSW Fair Trading Tenancy Agreement.

Always ready to assist with EVERYTHING HUMANLY POSSIBLE and even though staff/volunteers are under the pump constantly, they still spread their time and love evenly with EVERYONE requiring the service

My call was answered quickly and the officer was prompt and efficient in obtaining answers for me. At all times the officer was engaged with my query and eager to offer support and directed my call according to the nature of my query. I cannot fault their expertise and assistance, especially as Redfern Legal Service operates as a not-for-profit.

My experience with Redfern legal service has been amazing. They have helped me with several legal issues including car accident claims and Optus.The staff is very professional and friendly. They go out of their way to help everyone.I always recommend my friends and family to approach red fern legal centre for any kind of legal assistance and advice.

A phone appointment was booked for a Friday, 2 weeks after my initial inquiry. Therefore I didn't seek other legal advice for a traffic infringement. No call by RLC, I was left with no legal advice and because the appointment was booked late on a Friday afternoon, I had no access to Legal advice. Administration is incompetent, and the Center should not receive Government funding because they are not providing the service they claim to provide.

Hopeless service and the lawyer tries to discourage people so they leave without help and any hope for justiceI have done 30 years of community volunteer work in the Redfern Area and they had no motivation at all to help me with a legal issue

Had waiting a long time, a couple of weeks, in order to get a response back by phone for tenancy advice with a tenancy lawyer. Was hoping for representation but was instructed to lodge a claim at NCAT by myself. The lawyer also forgot to give me advice on how to lodge a complaint to fair trading and wat the violations called for the dodgy real estate agent...so basically i was left halfway informed about my questions. Now i have to start all over again just to get the other half of my questions answered because the lawyer forgot to advise me on how to file with the fair trading complaint ...such slow and incomplete response... Hopefully they can do better and faster next time i call but i doubt it . It's always been very slow response ...

Made appointments. No call backs. At agreed times. I waited and waited.Text messages , unfortunately lawyer not available today". Just hours before agreed appointments

I shared my experience long time ago but they deleted it along with other negative feedbacks. You can figure it out.The thing is those people can help you only if problems are really easy and simple. In other words only problems you can solve by yourself by just googling.Basically those people are want-to-be lawyers so they practice USING YOU.I understand they rejected to help me as it is up to them but the one I met was trying to do something weird even not relevant to my problem.It was obviously she was practicing her lawyer thingy to me when I was about leave the room after hearing their rejection.I was seeing her face for like 10 seconds thinking what she is doing.Still, you may meet a sincere one willing to help you but I was just unlucky I guess.
