My child enjoyed the pony ride so much!! And the trainer who walked with us was very professional and kids friendly. Thanks so much for the great experience. We booked again for the next pony ride already!!

We took our 4 year old daughter for her first pony ride experience today and she absolutely loved it. Matty the handler was fantastic, really in tune with our daughter, she talked to her the whole time, explaining everything and just chit chatting away with her, making it a really special day. Apples the pony was really gentle and placid and the whole feel of the place was nice. We will come back for more for sure!

My 9 year old son wanted to go horse riding and to find this amazing place only 30 mins from the CBD was great. The instructor (Katelyn) was excellent in identifying my son was nervous (first time on a horse) and was to chat to him throughout the ride to calm his nerves. Within 20 mins my son was riding on his own.....thank you for such a fantastic experience & such a personable one also

Woodlands in Oaklands Junction must be one of the natural gems in the heart of Melbourne. A mere half an hour drive from the CBD, the farmland spans endless acres of green pastures. Our instructor Federica was super awesome and made our horse riding experience very memorable. Our horses were very tame and were just challenging enough to steer for beginners. Thank you Woodlands and can't wait to get back there again soon!

Highly recommend Woodlands, it is a fantastic business. Both my kids do equine therapy with Anita and she is amazing. The horses are beautiful with great temperaments and all the staff are very professional and friendly. We are so grateful we found this gem of a business.

I done the trail ride class on Friday and this was the first time I am on horse. It was really great experience and I really enjoyed the class and the trainer Caitlyn was fantastic and the way she ease up the instructions and taking care of your concerns is exceptional. Caitlyn was professional and make you calm and confident and gives valuable suggestions and did answer all my concerns about riding. Will definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to learn horse riding and to have really good customer experience :)

:) Booked in a suprise for my partner for our first ever horse ride with Woodlands private tour for 2 farm experience. What a wonderful great experience it was. Thank you to our horse guide Caitlin as she was fantastic and super helpful to both of us being beginners and made us feel very comfortable and supported. We Will definitely be doing regular bookings and we would recommend Caitlin to any beginners like us. My other half was super happy with her and the entire experience. She was a little nervous but Caitlin helped her push through so a big thank you to Caitlin and the Team at woodlands Lodge. Great time!

We took our family of 5 to Woodlands for our kids to have their first ride.Wow! They LOVED it!!! And as parents, we were thrilled that they took it at our pace. The ride leaders, Maddie & Caitlyn, were fabulous with the kids, ensuring that they felt safe, capable and never in over their heads.The horses are beautiful, and were perfect for our novice riders. We range in height from 140cms to 200cms, and there was a horse for every size! The horses were well mannered, and well kept.I highly recommend Woodlands, and we'd return again in a heartbeat!

I had a wonderful experience today at the woodlands lodge. Me and my six year old daughter came for a lesson this morning for my birthday. Olivia our ridding instructor was fantastic she was kind and so helpful, this was only my little girls second time on a pony and Olivia was encouraging and helped her to feel confident and have a great time. We both had a wonderful ridding experience, and I loved being able to share with my daughter the love I have for ridding and horses. Thank you so much Olivia for taking care of us, and the whole team at woodlands ridding lodge for making this experience so special. Kind regards Disa
