Most rude & disrespectful behaviour I ve ever seen . I ve visited many rivers stores in this area within 40km but never ever experienced this type of rude disgusting customer service.There were balloons in the store and my 3yr old son asked a baloon ( that’s any kids behaviour in same age). One of the lady rudely replied “No that’s mine “. My kid was very upset & started crying. I m Asian and it’s Crystal clear u guys showed your discrimination behaviour towards us. When I m returning some items their attitude was too rude & disappointed.This is not the right job for you, if you want to learn how to do your job “ GO TO THE RIVERS SHOP IN KNOX & LEARN FROM THEM” they have really good attitude & passion on their job.Fix your behaviour and service before loosing business.Customer service is main goal of business to survive

I’ve come in a couple of time and found the staff to be incredibly rude and not interested in helping customers find the items they are looking for.The range here is also terrible as they seem to only carry clearance items. I’ve been in multiple times to try on pants I’ve seen on the website, only to find they don’t have any in stock. I asked today if the sale assistant could check other store stock levels and she acted like it was the worst thing in the world to help me.Your two staff where also having a conversation complaining about another staff member and their pays, in front of many customers and kept continuing their conversation even though a few of us where waiting at the register to be served. Won’t be back. Drive the extra distance to go to Fountain Gate or Dandenong.

My 90 y.o. father bought a $20 clearance pair of shoes size 8. His foot slid a bit inside. When I asked on his behalf that he swaps with a size 7 I was told that sorry it's a clearance item.My genuine question is that .. can a business make a policy that overrules basic consumer rights?I probably would let this go, but to hear the sales staff laugh as I walked away was demeaning of not only me but embarrassed my father into silence depression.No matter what, there is no excuse to laugh at a customer after essentially shrugging 'oh well bad luck it's policy'.I guess if I can educate enough people in this review on choosing wisely where they spend their money (or pension in my dad's case), then it's likely that it will be worth more than $20 !. Perhaps it's time to rethink policy on exchange.Being a Rivers member this makes the whole experience disappointing to say the least.

Great store with the best team. Always helpful and more stock than most. Sometimes just not enough staff to handle everything but not the fault of the store team.

Confusing layout but the clothes and prices are ok. Grabbed a couple of pair of jeans. The change rooms aren't accessible but the store is. Friendly service.

Got some great shoes at River's. But, would only buy them when they have a 40% off sale.

Store is quite dark and a little musty. Some good bargains but some things are way overpriced. Not exactly fashionable options but definitely some good quality practical options available. Their shoes are very comfy and they often have great sale prices.

Only place I will buy shoes from. Great selection and sizing.

I loved Rivers bit experience wasn't that pleasant as I have bad Knees and there was no were to sit to try shoes, when I asked a staff member she pointed a box out that was covered in cardboard boxes and it was hassle for her to move them! Won't be back in a hurry
