OceanSense Freediving - Airlie Beach

I had this weekend OFF life and had 2 days to fully focus on myself and what I love the most… my bucket is so full!!!I’ve just completed my Level 1 with @oceansensefreediving and it was friggin amazing… 100% recommend!! I pushed my mind and my body to a state it’s never been before, so much breath work and relaxation in the lead up to free diving a depth I’ve only done before with a scuba tank on. The safety lead up to us going into water was incredible. And the whole time we were in the water our trainers were checking on us and asking us if we were ok and how we’re feeling. I learnt so many new skills in and out of the water, so many I’ll take with me in my everyday life.I surprised myself and I’m so thankful for all the help I got from @mattunderpressure @zackmanzi and a couple of the other legends on the day! So many new mermaid/mermans!

I completed my level 1 freediving and the whole time I was made to feel calm, safe and confident. Our instructor Matt was clear with instructions and encouraging no matter our level of experience. I will be back for day trips and a retreat or two to expand my skills and knowledge with this great team :)

Had an awesome experience with Matt at OceanSense Freediving in Airlie. We did the two day course and we loved every moment. Matt is super knowledgeable and ensures you feel confident and comfortable the whole way through. We've done a level 1 course and a Bali retreat with these guys now and plan to do more. Matt, Gonzalo and Jenna are all fantastic instructors and are super motivated to see their students achieve their best.

I’ve done my freediving course with Oceansense and highly recommend them! My instructors were Matt and Zack - both very knowledgeable, patient and accomodating! I also spoke with Gonzalo to clarify some questions over the phone prior to the course and he was also super helpful and easy to deal with. They take you out to a beautiful beach in the Whitsunday Islands for your dives and they ensure you are safe and comfortable during your dives. Thank you again guys! Amazing ocean experience! Matt and the crew are super friendly and knowledgeable, really helped get my dives to very relaxed and enjoyable place. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore the underwater world of the whitsundays.

I would give these guys 100 stars if I could. Did the level 1 free diving course with them and could not recommend it enough. Matt is an amazing instructor with loads of free diving knowledge and patience. I had the best time whilst doing the course as well, which made it even better!!
