There are treasures here under every rock, and sometimes the treasures are the rock themselves. Fossils are littered over the beach. Best to come at low tide

Tiny little beach, lots of shells, small rocks everywhere. Don’t expect too much unless you are fossil lovers to dig around. Can’t swim nor a place to sit.Nice see view though

Good place for a short afternoon looking for fossils. The beach area is a little small so don't expect do do any swimming at this bay

The reviews aren't wrong, plenty of fossils to be found! A bit challenging to locate if you don't know where you're going. (Try parking in the street opposite the yacht club entrance, then walk down the ramp towards to yacht club, but keep going straight along the grass track). Lots of treasures to be found like glass, shells, rocks, not much sand though. Seems best to go at low tide on a calmer day.

Don't come here if you're after a traditional beach trip. This beach is tiny, some parts are smelly, the sand is a chunky quartz sand covered in rocks that hurts to walk on, there's litter, it's kinda ugly, and there's nowhere to swimBUT, if it's your thing, there's lots of treasures to be found amongst the sand and rocks - I found sea glass, some fossils, a couple bits of pottery,a couple shells and some weird slag-looking stuff. It's a little weird to access. There's no good place to park, so you might have to walk 500m or more from your car. Head down the road that leads into the Beaumaris Motor Yatch Squadron. There's a large sign to mark the spot. Squeeze past the gate at the end of the road and follow the grassy path round the corner and you'll be there. I suggest going when the tide is no more than 0.5m or you'll have to wade through a bit of water and won't have much beach to explore.
