This was once a worthwhile stopover. The products now seem generally lesser quality and with lots of the increased pricing throughout the store ,often I found over new store bought prices. No longer worth the visit.

Expansive well organized store that offers above average quality furniture of great variety, helpful attendants on hand. Regularly offers discounts on clothing for example all white ticket items will be priced at $1 despite being tagged at between $10-$15. Organise deliveries to home for larger pieces as well as pickup from your home. Worth a visit. Timing can be everything.

Sadly these shops aren't what they used to be. Yes I understand they have challenges as every business does, higher costs of everything, but they are registered charities, they get most, if not all of their stock given to them, and most of their staff are volunteers. My family and I have been going here for nearly 20 years, but on my last visit I saw items there that were cheaper in Kmart. I knew they were cheaper in Kmart because I had just been to Kmart looking at the same items. If a registered charity Op Shop is selling items at higher prices than you can buy them new, and a vast majority of their (second hand) items are pretty close to new prices anyway, something has gone terribly wrong somewhere. Their other store in Bulcock street is the same, but don't take my word for it, check it out for yourself. Read the reviews and make up your own mind. I would not call this a family store, but rather a boutique secondhand store. I went and bought my items at Kmart, brand new with warranty, and guess what? You can return them without a fuss. Try doing that here.

Some of the older female staff here really need to be spoken to regarding their treatment of customers. Twice I’ve been here to see them being rude to people about products not having a price and refusing to sell to them. Even stock on the floor not yet priced being taken back and customers scolded for picking it up. Perhaps don’t keep it on shelves accessible by customers? So rude, and disappointing to see. Won’t be back.

This was our first time visiting The Salvation Army Family Store in Caloundra as a family, one of our hobbies is visiting op shops. Upon our visit we were overall impressed with the large spacious store and the space between isles for a pram and space from other people. Unfortunately I realised the handbags were heavily used and they charged $10-$45 for them.

This is the best store ever to help to run it . Being a volunteer is the best thing that could ever happen in the community.
