HElp Wanted URGENTLY .........Our mare Le Bel Away agisting at Newhaven Park Stud , Boorowa NSW 2586 carrying a live unborn foal by COOL AZA BEEL due early Aug 22 was reported to Us by John Kelly Newhaven Park Stud on a Sunday in July 2022 as being found dead in a paddock along with 7 other horses 8 in total ..Cause of death was reported as a Lightening Strike ..We are seeking anyone else who may have had a horse KILLED on the property at that time please to contact the writer Urgently ...At the time the matter was notified by Mr Kelly he stated that he was in a rush to contact all the owners and did not have time to disscuss as the Vet was due out to examine the deceased horses ..and could not talk long , that hed be back in touch in a few days ...Approximately 10 days later we were advised , and during this advice mention was made that No Vet was actually called out to attend , no pictures were taken , the evidence were disposed of by Newhaven Park Stud them selves off their own bat ..We feel it is odd that The Dept of Metiorology has No record of lightening activity in the vicinity at that time ..We have sent numerous emails to Mr Kelly & Newhaven Park Stud pertaining to these aspects and are now being ignored !Mr Kelly did Warn Us when he originally advised Us of the death that Sunday morning that should we wish to seek compensation we would need to take legal action & sue ..Perhaps Newhaven Park Stud / John Kelly now ignoring Our requests for disscussion on the matter is some sort of legal defensive strategy ...Reality even with insurance we would not have been able to obtain compensation as due to the actions of Newhaven Park Stud we are unable to prove Our loss as there is no vet report , no pictures & nothing to support an actual proof of loss only Mr Kellys word that Our Mare & live unborn foal were killed as he claimed ...we are not wealthy people just small owners and feel overwhealmed emotionally by the events ..attached are a couple of pictures or our le Bel Away , she was much loved by our family & kids we would annually visit Le Bel Away with our daugther to see her new foals ..Our family is still very much raw emotionally upset ..................................................................................................We have now checked with Aust Stud Book only Our Mare showing as deceased July 2022 whilst on Newhaven Park StudFeeling very suspicous indeed , dont want to believe we have been deliberately lied to by John Kelly ! hummAs Duty of care why was not daily weather reports monitored ?Still NO response from John Kelly & Newhaven Park Stud .........................................................................................................As a client of Newhaven Park Stud We are attempting to demonstrate Publicly what sort of deplorable situation we are faced with .We have Called Out John Kelly /Newhaven Park Stud ,yetstill NO post in reply ,no email reply ?We will keep digging until we find the Truth !Where Are the Bodies ?There needs to be an investigation , Animal Welfare Help ?...................................................................Duty Of Care = 8 horses killed !John Kelly Your Character / Newhaven Park Studis now in question ! We Again Call You OUT!Where are the bodies ,whats happened to Our beautiful mareLe Bel Away ?.Its April 2023 Our post from last year 2022 facebook page of Newhaven in which we sincernly wrote Our heatfelt condolences and sympathy to all those other 7 mare owners & Newhaven whos mares were killed ..now Very Suspicious indeedie !!!!We have received back our service of $16,500 from Newhavenwhich is felt as an admission of liability ..This is John Kelly arrogantly throwing the dog a bone But no advice regarding Our beautiful Mare & live unborn foal ?No other mare owners have spoken Out which is even more suspicious ..You have failed in your Duty of Care and now simply lie your way out ...

Absolutely disappointing and disgraceful service provided to a fellow horse owners recently.The fellow horse owners had a broodmare that was in foal and due to foal, only to be informed that his broodmare, along with 7 others had passed away due to a freak lightening strike.No evidence of the death was provided, nor was a vet called and no death certificate was given to them regarding the cause of death to his much beloved broodmare.It is bad end sad enough that they lost their broodmare and the unborn foal, but not being provided evidence of the death - such as a vet report and death certificate is absolutely unprofessional behaviour and dishonest behaviour.This leaves to many unanswered questions and left my fellow horse owners and the Family devastated. The broodmare was loved by the whole family and was considered to be part of the family.This matter needs to be addressed and compensation should be and must be paid - immediately.
