This is hands down the best Indian in Brisbane! My partner and I came here for dinner after a recommendation from a friend and we are so glad we did. The food is outstanding, we are adventurous eaters and absolutely loved all the authentic dishes available including all the Desi Delhi specials and the street food dishes (unlike anything you can find anywhere else in Brisbane!).We brought our family back here because we loved it so much, and it was just as good the second time. The staff are truly so wonderful- so helpful and attentive (even offered to go across the road to the bottle shop when they didn’t have a bottle opener!).This place is small, but truly a such a humble, hidden gem. We will definitely be back .Thank you so much Desi Delhi ❤️

First time here at Desi Desi, been meaning to try since I noticed a name change and new owners, finally did, I must say 10/10, friendly service, awesome butter chicken, cheese and garlic naan amazing. You now have a loyal customer.I use to go to Kohinoor but bad experience from them a few years ago, swapped to Aussie Indian at Banyo, then they closed down, no idea why Nundah only pretty much has Thai so silly. Desi Desi I really hope you do well and stay open, you def have my full support, hope every 2-3 weeks at least I am there. Many Thanks, Aaron.

Great vegan optionsGreat value for moneyAnd very tasty! YummMy only feedback is it would be nice to have some sort of vegan yogurt cream thing to balance it perfectlyAnd seeing what is vegan clearly on the menu would be great

I don't write essays in Google reviews but leaving it here because I believe, this restaurant is underrated (perhaps because of its size and location) and deserves a shout out.Okay so, I've been eating in/taking away from this restaurant since week #1. The best thing about this restaurant is their staff who heed to your preferences/requirements and bring their A-game to better your experience. Personally, I prefer Indian (desi) so, be it butter chicken or biryani, I've always seen the taste match my expectations.Since I've been to ~30 Indian restaurants across Queensland, I consider myself fit enough to give my approval to this one and I can say that this sits right there in my Top 3.My top 5 recommendations: Butter chicken, biryani, thali, palak paneer and faluda.

Thought we'd give this place a try and wete not disappointed.The curries are very well priced and absolutely beautiful.Naan bread was perfect (this is a BIG deal for me) and the service was wonderful.It is not a 'romantic' style setup with and decor and is very basic but the food and service are A+++ my new favourite!

This is our favourite Indian restaurant. Authentic, flavoursome food and always polite service. The chef special butter chicken on the bone is amazing. Please keep up the amazing cooking, we are spreading the word to our friends! We will continue coming back.

Food was so good. Loved the butter paneer, prawn goan, and kofta balls. Naan was very good too. Very clean food.
