Suganya's Thai Restaurant
The food was both authentic and tasty however the service was a little slow. My 375ml local beer was $10 which I felt was expensive. Overall a positive experience though.

Ate here twice whilst in Bright. The first visit was just the 2 of us. The food was delicious, the flavours very authentic and the service very good. Had vegie spring rolls, Pad Khing and Tamarind Fish Fillets, all of which were tasty and well presented. On our second visit, we took our daughter & 2 young grandchildren. It was busier on this occasion and we were extremely disappointed with the service. Our entrees came after a reasonable wait, but we waited one hour after finishing these for our main course. This was definitely unreasonable as we observed customers who had arrived after us served their mains before us. When we asked how long our food would be, we were told it was unexpectedly busy and they were unprepared. No apology, just excuses. I actually think they forgot our meals. Our meals finally arrived, one by one over a period of 10 mins or so and my husband, who had ordered the whole snapper, received his meal about 15 mins after all the other meals. The fish had not been descaled properly which made eating it rather unpleasant. We had arrived about 6.10pm and didn't leave till after 9pm. Most people who had arrived after us had already left. Very disappointing evening and more disappointing was the attitude of the staff. Would be wary about going again even though the food is superb.

We arrived as the last available table for the evening. Post this all other walk in guests were given a blunt 'We are fully booked'. Nothing like a 30 mt or 45 mt wait was advised, although one or two tables were available in about 45 mts. One waiter only. The food was average.

Best thai curry fried rice I ever had..But the waiting time was to much.. although i went in early maybe that would be a reason..Ambience was ok.. but Food was amazing..

Some friends and I purchased some take away from here for dinner tonight. Initially the food tasted nice, until we found multiple hairs in three of the four dishes we ordered (all curries). Due to the amount we found, unfortunately this turned us off our food. When we called to provide this feedback, Bill was extremely rude and advised that we needed to bring the meals in as evidence (we had taken the hairs out) and compensation could not be guaranteed as “the staff wear hair nets”, despite spending $138 on food we couldn’t eat.

Small restaurant, felt a bit cramped. Food was good, service was good and the menu was extensive with something for everyone's taste. Would have liked to give it 4 stars but they need a bigger space.

Got takeaway , service was fine and was ready when it was supposed to be, but the food was just okay, not great, not amazing, just okay.It's just a pit to pricey and the portion sizes seemed to be a bit undersized. If it was priced better for the quality I would eat it again , but there are better options for the price.

Great little spot in the main area. Warm and comfortable. We got takeaway - the usual suspects. All the food was very good but the pork Penang, while VERY tasty, had too much liquid. The meat was very good. Pad Thai lovely. Ginger chicken very good. We also loved the steamed dim sims. Served hot and well packaged. Excellent service from bloke on the till.
