Island Point Reserve
Never caught nor seen any crab unfortunately. Saw a bunch of pelicans instead. But absolutely loved the view and nature. Grateful to see such a beautiful sunset in the middle of the water lol Special moment of my life :)

If you say you love the calmness of nature or natural beauty, but never been at the Island Point reserve…. Then you should go there…We enjoyed the evening…. If you see others review , you will find how beautiful it is ….Such a great place, shouldn’t miss by anyone who loves going out and explore….

Great spot for the dog to swim and crab . Lots of parking and toilet to relieve yourselfs. Don’t forget to keep to your quota and sized crabs unless you want a hefty fine. Happy crabbing

Island Point Reserve
Shallow water area, watch out for black mud, mostly to the south. You can park close to the water. Popular for crabbing. Toilets and bbq available. Walk trail through bushland to the south and out to the estuary.

Kind of muddy and shallow (low tide) lots of people crabbing but we wanted to go kayaking lol. Plenty of access and a playground with a toilet.

Island Point Reserve
A natural, pretty spot on the western shore of Harvey Estuary. Great for picnics, crabbing, photography, kayaking at (high tide?).

Island Point Reserve
We visited here after visiting the Lake Clifton Thrombolites in the morning. Very secluded, we set up a picnic on some grass along the water. we had a view of a small island that looked like a breeding ground for pelicans. The seagulls don't bother you as well, which the children liked.

Island Point Reserve
Great access to the Estuary. Plenty of Birdlife. Good toilet facilities. Went looking for wildflowers. Too late for orchids(late October)but there were numerous other flowers to see.
