Drinks were quality and the selection great but the vibes are weird -- not sure I want 3 children under 10 around when I'm at a cocktail bar but comes with the territory of the venue service food as wellFood was nice too! No complaints re: tacos for the table

New (again) but better than ever. Excellent service, happy staff, burgers were tasty. Cocktail & Beer menu were so much fun. They forgot my 2nd cocktail but made it for me immediately when I asked & offered me a free additional one. I was very satisfied. They were honest & hospitable. Also it was pretty packed, we got lucky with a table.

Probably not the best option if you have young kids that's on us. The food was tasty when it arrived which is good. It did take a lot longer than expected about 40 mins and we ordered before everyone arrived. Ordered the onion rings from the snack menu fully expecting them to arrive before our meals, not the case.

The food was phenomenal! It was quite a noisy environment, and the food took a while to arrive, but the food itself made it all very much worth it!

Vibe was really cool, a beer list like this is hard to find in Sydney let alone 5 hours west! cocktail menu looks unreal. Staff were awesome and crazy friendly and really knew their stuff when asking for recommendations. Food was so so good. Will be back

We came here for the cocktail menu, and were quite impressed!After a parade of drinks we had a great couple of burgers, don't forget to ask for a sauce with your chips because they do some amazing ones.With covid restrictions the place didn't get too crowded, but even before people showed up it was nice that the music wasn't too loud for conversation to be normal, and there was a great general vibe.

This place is consistently great and is one of only two dinner places in Dubbo that consistently hit the mark for the food, service, and atmosphere trio. I never enjoyed beer but after frequenting The Monkey Bar with friends, I'm a craft beer convert. The cocktail list is long and creative, and the typical bar food is always to a high standard. Something for everyone. When really busy the wait times for food can drag a little, but that's pretty standard for a smaller venue and extended wait time are always made clear at the time of ordering. The owners are wonderful and know everything about everything beer related. They've even started brewing their own.

The food is very good.. but I was waiting an hour and a half for a burger! They should have more staff in the kitchen.They have very good variety of beers
