Tamala Station

Really overpriced and they haven’t had a grader in for over 6 months so the tracks are really corrugated and rough, hard on gear. The place is a paradise but really the fishing isn’t that good unless you take your boat. Which we did, it still wasn’t amazing. The toilets were broken, it was lucky we were self efficient. They also asked for a photo of our chemical toilet which I found weird. Why would I have that? It was our second time back there and we do love the serenity but think they are a bit cheeky with the pricing.

3 friends and myself stayed on shell beach for three days, After returning back to the beach after our first days fishing we where questioned by an elderly english backpacker by the name of yorky regarding our bag limit and how we are over the limit. Even tho we only had 5 fish between the four of us, We made it very clear to him the correct bag limit via the WA fisheries website.He still insisted on calling fisheries to report us, aswell as the station owner. He was corrected very quickly by fisheries, who informed him that we are well within our right to take that many.Upon leaving and handing back in our over priced key, we then received a lecture as if we where 15 year schoolboys on how what we did “ was legal but very mean to the fish”. Even tho we only ended up we three fish each and well under the limit.Besides all the pensioners with nothing better to do than snooping through what you caught for the day, the station is lovely.

Stayed for 6 days, had the beach to our selves. Our 2 Ridgebacks loved it.

Not entirely certain what heaven looks like, but I would like to think and hope this place is very similar. Absolutely amazing just wish I didnt need to work so could go more often.

Lovely coast line and beaches. Just like the pictures. Owner was lovely and kind. Very cheap and easy directions.I would recommend a tent or caravan as the wind can be consistent and very hard to set up our soft floor camping trailer. That was the only negative thing for us.

Very relaxing place to get away from the world.

LOVE THIS PLACE!We come every year to stay with our dogs!As long as you do the right thing ie; clean up after yourselves, rubbish etc. Then this place will forever stay beautiful!Owners are lovely and accomodating, the properties goats are a laugh and the water is magnificent and pristine!!Without a doubt, one of our favourite places to stay!! did not refund the bond!!! incredible person that has just kept the bond for the key although the key was tropped in the box for after hour depatures. crooks

We have been going there for 6 yrs,this is our 2nd home,we just love the place ,we have met great people there and the fishing is great,never had a problem taking our VAN there,just have to take it easy.
