Just like numerous people here have mentioned, Tony is a scam artist who needs to be investigated. Told me the car needed $1300 in repairs for him to give me a pink slip, so I took it to another garage and they said nothing is wrong with the car and gave me a pink slip with no problem. Stay away from this thief!

Tony is either incompetent or dishonest. I took my Audi Q5 to him as the air-conditioning was not working. Tony said the compressor would need to be replaced at a cost of $2,000 however there could be other issues and the cost could be up to $4,000. I then took my car to another workshop who said only a sensor needed to be replaced which they did. The air-conditioning is working perfectly now and the cost was $445! Avoid this place!

I’ve been coming to theses guys for a couple years for regular checkups. In that time I’ve had only good experiences.Tony has always been honest and to the point. He’s the first mechanic I actually trust to have my best interest in mind. The quality of is work is undeniable, and he’s damn efficient. Communication and punctuality is always spot on too.I have no hesitation recommending the team here to anyone in need of a trustworthy and reliable mechanic in the inner Sydney area. Paid 3000+ for slip, and my partner spend 500+ for a service which is not needed…Owner made a comment, trying to accuse this review is fake, they not charge 3000 for slip. Okay, I will change my review to “I PAID 3000 for PINK SLIP AND UNNECESSARY REPAIR!!”, the truth is you have to pay thousands, otherwise they will not give you pink slip. It looks like you still doing the same thing to your new customer. Speechless.

We went here for a pink slip. Unfortunately there was an issue with our brakes. But they could fix it within one day which was great because we did not have too much time. He even helped us on a different topic which was so kind! The communication was great - quick and super friendly! We really appreciate it! I can only recommend it, that‘s a place where they do an extra step even though they don’t have to.

Be careful, avoid this place. They tried to charge me 1500 AUD for a 300 AUD job. Tony the owner is a thief and have no clients.DON'T GO THERE. SCAMMER. AVOID AVOID AVOID !!

There is a very common thread in these reviews, and I wish I'd looked him up before using this business.I have used this mechanic twice, and been ripped off twice.I gave him the benefit of the doubt after the first time, and regretted it instantly.He will charge considerably extra labour, and tell you unnecessary and expensive repairs need to be done prior to giving you a pink slip.The first time he charged me over $1500 in urgent repairs, the second over $600 (four hours) to do a very simple job that wouldn't have taken more than an hour to do.He is the summary of why mechanics have bad reputations, and I cannot warn you more to STAY AWAY!I can only assume any positive reviews are either fake, or by people who don't know any better.Go elsewhere.

Avoid this place like the plague - A $50 pink slip ended up costing me $1200 in “urgent” repairs for a 5 year old car that were not urgent. I stupidly payed as I needed a slip urgently but went to a more reliable mechanic to have a look over, I was told by this mechanic about multiple people being ripped off here! Tony manipulates people that do not know about cars just for a few extra bucks. Avoid avoid avoid avoid.

Good spot, Tony is a top bloke. As a tradie he looked after me with the van during lockdown when was stood down from work. Glad to be a regular customer.

The service we received from Tony at Advanced Auto Centre Care was beyond fault and beyond reproach. Tony is at the very top of his field and his expertise are both apparent and extremely impressive. He has a very impressive and helpful ability to explain to you exactly what is wrong with your car in a manner that means you feel involved in the process of repair and know exactly what you’re paying for, and exactly what is needed.As two travellers entering the country for the first time seeking to have a secondhand vehicle inspected, we were naturally cautious that any mechanic could take advantage of both our naivety and lack of car knowledge, but with Tony, his openness, friendliness and honesty instantly put the customer at ease. We truly cannot fault the experience we had at Advanced Auto Centre - no matter what the issue is with your vehicle, you are guaranteed a top quality service at not only a reasonable price, but a competitive one. Would recommend to anyone, 10/10
