Tuggerah Station

Easy to get to though not much parking after 7am on weekdays. Very easy to drop people off or pick up in a car.

No signposted pickup location for uber rideshare. Riders complain about the lack of a lift if they have luggage and need to get to the opposite platform. Taxi rank never has any taxis. No food or drink shops anywhere near. Difficult to access from the Tuggerah Westfield. Pacific Highway side of station sits on a very busy main road with limited safe means of pickup or drop off or crossing the road.

Pros: Easy to navigate and digital signage makes you aware of train information like delays, stops etc; most buses stop here; Easy 'tap on and off' poles everywhere.Cons: No lift (despite state government promising one) for disabled people to use; lack of security for car park and station itself; Opal card machine, at times, will not allow an EFTPOs deposit for some reason.Note: Opal Customer Service takes forever to speak to an agent due to all the messages, so if you ever forget your account name/password you'll need to board a train ticketless and risk getting fined - HUGE PROBLEM THAT NEEDS ADDRESSING.

I remember the olden days when you walked across the tracks. Now people are farked off that they have to use stairs and ramps. Finally lifts are being installed and hopefully the next time I use this place will be for a job in Newcastle not the dreaded Sydney trip. This would be the slowest and worst trip in the world.Once upon a time a red belly black snake was under a pram on the platform at Tuggerah Station. Odd place for a slithering of snakes but the baby survived thankfully.

Busy station.Weekend parking OK but don't bother on a weekday .Full by 7am.Cannot park at nearby supercentre as it now has timed parking to combat commuter overflow.So busy even trains at 1AM can have 20 people get off which makes you feel safer.Sunday trains can be almost full at 10:50am.

There is no lift at this station just very long ramps.

Always well kept and clean station.Staff are always friendly and willing to lend a helping hand.The recent addition of Al's Coffee Cart is really starting to pull this place together, and give it it's small charming identity.Only downside is that it's vending machines frequently break down and steal passersby's coins (on one occasion I actually had to contact the vending machine company after my money was stolen).Aside from that, a great but quaint little station.

Easy to negociate with luggage or wheelchairs as very gentle incline and decline on ramps. Also drop off and pick up points are conveniently close to platform entrances. Allow a few extra minutes of using ramps and downside of gentle angle is they are long. Manned ticket office is on platform one only.
