Once you integrate this software into your business this company will price gouge you. We use to pay $500 per year, then it went up to $900, then pricing changed to GBP and it cost £900 per year but only if we agreed to pay 100% in advance, next year they want to charge over £5,000 (with no extra functionality) and will not give me assurances about pricing in the future. We have been a customer for 6 years. Head Office in Australia is impossible to contact. Customer service in Middle East can only help with minor product issues. Avoid this company.

DEAR is not well suited to a small business like ours, something I wish was explained to us when we went through the upfront demos and phone calls. Inventory system is too complex if you just need quotes, invoices and POs as we did. We paid the $3,000 and ditched the system 10 days later. No refund was given (in the small print of course). As far as I can tell there's no staff in Australia and not many consultants who can help locally. A big waste of money.

Where do I start.. Absolutely terrible customer service. The 'Australian' reps are actually offshore and have no idea how the product even works. Dear is clunky and takes ages for items to load. Syncs between shopify, Dear and Xero breaks all the time and orders go missing. You now have to have a notification module at $50 per month just to get notified on a sale in Dear - what sales system charges you to be notified of a sale. Run away, do not use Dear!

I just can't believe they made me pay for an integration module I tested for 3 days and turns out it wasnt right for me and they wouldnt refund me for the annual plan

I well rounding software set with a lot of functionality and good support and strong feature set. Worth looking at. receptive developments team.Pricing model has changed, and depending on document volume this effects the overall costing, so worth reviewing pricing structure to match you need. agree onboarding isn't required, but potentially an implementation partner if your not developer inclined.

Do not use the software unless you are software engineer yourself. You will have zero help implementing it and it is not just straightforward connecting your systems. There are tons of settings. They will tell you that a third-party specialist can help, but that is not always the case with systems other than out-of-the-box e-commerce like Shopify, will Commerce or Accounting with Quickbooks. They do not care at all that you are successful with the product. Very efficient at taking your money, not so much at helping you use the product!NO CHAT, NO PHONE SUPPORT, ALL SUBMITTING TICKETS TO SRI LANKA!
