Hawthorn East vets and vet nurses are BRILLIANT. Individual, personalised care, fantastic communication and monitoring of my geriatric (15-year-old) dog's condition(s). The care shown by Hawthorn East Vet is outstanding. Their systems are also super efficient, helping with pet insurance claims and getting in medication when necessary.

Thanks team for always taking amazing care of our Mini Bull Terrier - Susie. You all go above and beyond to ensure the best care for her and make a huge effort to provide detailed information during and after her treatment. Every staff member I speak to is always so friendly and keen to help, as well as reassuring. You’re all amazing!

I have a dog and two cats who are patients at this vet, and we always get fantastic care. My dog doesn’t always make good life choices in his consumption of non dog food items, and they always make sure he gets taken care of and back on track. Plus he’s always happy to see them every time. They also helped out with all of my veterinary needs when my cat came from Canada a few years ago, so they were good with international transfers too. The vets and the nurses are all excellent and I always tell anyone in the neighborhood to try this place out because it’s great.

Hi All,My experience with Hawthorn East Vet over 8 approximately years.Had a very old dog and was spending $500 /1000 per month.From one appointment to the other... You don't know what Vet will treat your animal.I had a disagreement with the young vet on duty.Following days , I left a message for the owner Mat to call me. Which he did.Listen to my complaint. And agreed it could have been handled better at his endwith you reception staff.However is resolution was.. Best you find another vet... I will email you your pets records.

The professional, friendly amd welcoming staff always make our visits special. Our animals have always loved going to the vet. Our most memorable visits were when we had to make the sad decision to have our pets euthanised. Over a period of 4 years we had a dog, then a cat euthanised. We were overwhelmed with sadness - both times, farewelling our most loved childhood pets. All the staff were sympathetic and understanding- respectful of our need for time. They helped us to feel comfortable with the process, explaining how the timeframe would work.A week later we received a condolence card from the vet.Thank you for your care amd understanding.

Thanks to Mark and the wonderful team at Hawthorne East Vet who's expertise were vital in a second opinion for our Whippet. Without them we wouldn't have had our boy diagnosed so early and start treatment before it turned terminal. Can't thank them enough and highly recommend them for service and expertise.

These guys go above and beyond to help out. So much so the head nurse chatted to me for 30 mins on the phone explaining my dogs condition and what a treatment plan may look like. Their Kew counterparts are also LOVELY ! They were so helpful. Marnie at Kew called the Hawthorn branch for me when I needed an emergency vet and was super caring and really helped calm me down. I will never forget her kindness. They truly care for the animals and are great at their jobs here.**Edit **Came back here when I made the difficult decision to put my pet to rest and I cannot commend the team highly enough for how they handled things with such sensitivity and love and care. From the reception staff, to the note to other customers with a candle lit asking for quiet as some one was saying goodbye to their pet, to the arrangements for my pets ashes etc etc. Dr Patrick was THE most amazing human and he treated my and my pet with dignity and respect. I will never be able to repay the kindness shown to us on this day - the worst of my life. Thank you all SO much. You are all angels xx

The team at Hawthorn East Vet are always helpful and caring. My cat Violet can be a Diva at times but they manage her attitude with patience and kindness.

Nicole and Cassie removed a 2kg tumour from my dogs guts and she lives to tell the tale happily all because of their incredible skill and kindness! I couldnt reccomend these guys more, SO caring, SO attentive, SO passionate! They called me daily to see how Lily was going and tried to keep everything in my budget as I was struggling with costs. Cam is lovely and every nurse is too. They really do care and it shows. Its a 45 minute drive from my house but I wouldn't go anywhere else. Lily bursts through the door everytime!Thank you so much Hawthorn East Vet, so so grateful. ❤❤❤
