Styled at Goldilocks

I had my hair cut, coloured and styled for the first time at Goldilocks this week. I have attended highly regarded salons in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane but this experience was my best ever. My hair has never looked as luxuriant and healthy, and the new colour really compliments my skin tones. I have found hair dressing heaven!

My first visit there was fantastic and could not have recommended highly enough. The atmosphere was great.2nd visit the owners behaviour was disgusting as she whispered in her clients ear about my hair and her client turned around in chair and laughed in my face. I will NOT support a business that thinks that type of behaviour is acceptable. It's unprofessional.I am also sick of hairdressers not listening to clients. I returned again to my hairdresser as I was pleased with previous results. However, this time I left with a colour and cut that I never asked for. I said I was happy with last style. But no, hairdressers do what they want to do obviously. I now can't do anything with my hair at all. It's the shortest it's ever been and I hate it. I now won't be back unfortunately. Devastated!! It looks ridiculous on me!!!

I went with a friend who was having her hair done. As soon as I walked in I had to leave as it was SO noisy. Music....hairdryers and the girls talking loudly over all the noise and each other. One of the girls had an annoying high pitch voice and laugh. It wasn't relaxing, it seemed frenetic and instantly jangled my nerves. I'm glad I didn't have to stay and knowing this I wouldn't go for a haircut....regardless if they are good hairdressers

As soon as I walked in I felt such a friendly vibe, the girls there are so lovely.Grace talked to me in detail about my hair and explained everything she was doing as she was doing it. I Felt super comfortable I will be returning!!!The best salon in town!!!

Fantastic experience my hair looks amazing! Fixed my damage from previous dye job, my colour is now natural looking and I'm so happy my hair feels so healthy!

My last experience here (2.5 years ago) was abysmal, but I decided to give the business another try hoping that things had changed in that time. I have since discovered they are still the same tired system of ugly chaos, and totally regret approaching Goldilocks in any way!I made an appointment about a week in advance and paid a $20+ deposit for this. Three hours later I received a text message and an email stating the appointment had suddenly become unavailable, but both promised someone would be in touch with me to rebook as soon as possible. I waited three business days for this to happen, no contact. Phoned on Monday and spoke with Millie - a female who sounded like a beige adolescent, and who made it plain she could not care less about the issue. I went here yesterday for the first time and had a cut and colour with Jules. I was really happy with everything and Jules is very knowledgeable and knew exactly what I wanted.I’ll definitely be going back.

Have been going here for years and value the honest feedback about my unruly hair and what works for me.Maria and team are great, professional, kind and friendly. Why would I go anywhere else!
