Exceptional friendly service. My meal was scrumptious and such a big serve. It had a great vibe and a very friendly atmosphere. Thanks, team.

Had lunch at the new bistro. Staff were good, but our meals came.seperately and not by a little bit but quite some time. The steak was medium, I had ordered rare. The meat though was good.

It’s Easter Saturday and the place isn’t too busy. A few groups of 10, 8 & 5 and the like. Definitely not busy enough to understand why it’s taking an hour to an hour+ for food to come out. We understand that staff are hard to come by on public holidays… that it’s particularly hard when kitchen staff are away and the staff need to adapt. We were advised of a 45 minute wait… fair enough we were warned. But when the buzzer goes off it’s one meal…. Not all of them. We feel like the hotel has been open long enough for there to be a routine. Maybe some table fries would have kept everyone sane, especially considering that we are all here drinking. We ordered at 1:37pm and I’m writing this at 2:54pm… that kind of says it all. We did get our money back but still waiting at 3:18pm…

1st time staying in Cootamundra for the Coota 400 car event. Was lucky enough to get accommodation here after everything else was booked out we were blessed to get this place as it was the best location and the rooms for extremely clean and were very comfortable, we ate once at the bistro and the food was great. Our stand out was Katie the Bar manager was attentive and had amazing customer service she is a gem of a person and we will be definitely staying back here again next year because of our experience thanks again

I was in cootamundra on Saturday and dropped into the new Albion hotel for a meal. I will say I wasn't overly impressed with what I was served. I spoke to the staff about my concern. They were very polite and attentive to myself. They took my name phone number and advised me that the manager would give me a call to discuss the issue. Today I received a phone call from the manager with a resolution to my issue. She also took the time to discuss with me that it is a new business and as we all know with every new business there are teething problems and they are working hard to rectify them. I booked a room for new years eve. The room was clean and very comfortable. Great atmosphere and The entertainment was A grade and everyone had a great night. In this case the positives far outway the negative so I will be patronising this establishment in the future. Thank for your prompt and friendly customer service.

Dropped in for a meal with the family as passing through Cootamundra on 4 Jan 23. Place looked amazing (perhaps a recent renovation??), the beer was cold and the staff friendly (albeit slow service) but unfortunately that was the extent of the good news. The slow cooked pork ribs (only 4 ribs in the serving) was more broiled than slow cooked and served with a gravy with the consistency of dirty water and topped with raw Spanish onions (first time I've ever seen that option...). The steak was asked for medium and came out about 1cm thick and well done. There were a no chips available and the mashed potato was a horrendous packet powdered instead (Deb brand?) which was inedible with some steamed vegetables. The flathead fish & chips came out and were told when picking up the meal the flathead was not available and instead was frozen basa fillets. Just to top it all off the kids playground safety gate didn't align and couldn't be closed with a forceful nudge.Looks like some great work done on the establishments appearance recently but unfortunately the food does not match and I cannot recommend. Avoid if you're looking for a meal.

Had lunch. Steak sandwich with plenty of extras but steak was tough and overcooked. Chips were great. Prices were reasonable.Service was slow. Atmosphere was light and airy.

We had dinner there on 28th December. We had a table booked for 6pm for a group of us. They were fairly busy that night as they were one of only a few places open for dinner. Even though we booked the table the day before and they knew how many people would be attending we still waited 2 HOURS for our food. When we finally got the food they had run out of basic vegetables so the salads were less than ordinary, the mashed potato was replaced with hot chips and there was no vegetables at all for the some of the meals. The fish was poor quality and the chips were soggy. Overall, even though the meals were fairly cheap, they tasted as cheap as they cost and the service was abysmally slow. I've never waited 2 hours for food before in my life. Not good enough. One star for nice atmosphere in the outdoor dining and clean toilets.

Pretty swank for a country pub.The service was friendly and the beer was proper cold.I can't speak to the tucker or the rooms but if they are up to the standard I observed in everything else they'll be good.I'll grab a feed next time I am there and provide an update.
