Jennys House the beginning

Very friendly and good service . This was my second time to come and I have recommended to my few friends too.

This place used to be good. Went with my son and the guy took 10 mins for the two of us combined. Absolutely zero care given and his hair was not cut anywhere but his fringe. I had to do it myself again at home. Absolutely do not recommend going here. Very disappointed and there is so much choice at Eastwood. Last time I took my son to KPop hair and despite the bad signage the older lady did a fantastic job, it was quick but she knew what she was doing.

Jenny house is my go to haircut and hair colour place in Eastwood. Staff are very nice and professional in making my hair the way I prefer it done. Punctual with appointments ( need to make appointment beforehand) and will turn away customers if they are too busy. Overall will recommend anyone that needs hair services with Jenny House.

Through word of mouth, I decided to try out Jenny House (friendly Korean speaking staff) with my sister and my adult daughter. Ian did my haircut exactly as I had wanted. He was professional and efficient. Cindy did my daughter's haircut and showed her some photos she had Googled: photo #1 is from Google, photo #2 is her haircut and photo #3 is the colour my daughter wanted (like in the Google image). Cindy did exactly as she had requested and my daughter was SO happy with it she decided to stay and dye her hair on the same day as she felt confident that Cindy would do a great job. Ian was good with his English and was very friendly and my sister was able to describe what she wanted. We were VERY happy with Ian and Cindy's professionalism and they have great advice. We have made further appointments for a hairtreatment and Colour with Ian and Cindy.I highly recommend Jenny House. I'm unsure of previous 1 star reviews (I suggest bringing along clear pictures to show them perhaps). I know both Ian and Cindy can provide great service. Overall, a lovely, clean, comfortable place to get pampered.

First, can I ask what is blow dry? My understanding is a blow dry includes a hair wash. If your hair is already dry, why do you need blow dry? Only if you want to style your hair, right? I went to this hair dresser yesterday. I asked a Korean male staff the price for a hair cut. He said between $55 - 66. When I showed him my hair, he said $55 and that would included 'blow dry'. $55 - 66 depends on the thin? or thick? of your hair. I could not figure out what he meant by thin or thick. Even when they said the price depends on long or short hair? I often found it ridiculous about long or short hair because, like me, I have long hair, but I just want to have it trimmed and shortened just by 1 inch. Anyway, when he trimmed my hair half way, I asked if he would wash my hair after trimming? He said if I want my hair washed, it would be an extra $10. So, what did he mean by 'blow dry' when he did not even wash my hair? If he meant when he sprayed my hair during trimming and that was wet hair, he was totally misleading. What a cheat! Never go there again. Be careful when you asked them, different staff will give you different price, at different time. I ended up paying $55 for just a trim. Too expensive.

I showed them what haircut I would like to have. Not bad haircut but after, I showed them a pic of side bangs that I would like to have. I showed the person about 2~3 times. When the hairdresser was cutting my hair for the side bangs, I felt something strange was happening. After the cut, there was a fringe which I didn’t ask for. The dresser started to do some hair drying process on my bangs. After the dry, I looked at the mirror and saw my bang just like a japenese bang. I’m disappointed.

Booked an appointment last minute no problem,The place is so clean, stylishly decorated and relaxing, not super busy and noisy like other places. The staff was very friendly, they put aside my jacket and bag in a locker. My hair cut was perfect and I didn't have to wait for people in between. Marina was so sweet and gave me her full attention, ill be coming back here often.

I agree with most comments here about the haircut. For $55 women’s haircut I would expect something in detail but the whole experience was very rushed and rough. The hairdresser did it very fast and did not listen to my request at all. When I got home I noticed the detail of my haircut was very poor. I had to go to a different salon to get it fixed. For $30 kid’s haircut (for a girl), it literally took less than 5 mins. Again, did not listen to my request. I don’t think this is the place I want to go back for.

Had my hair coloured and cut today.I was very happy with my hairstyle walking out.The staff were very friendly and professional.They even reminded me of my parking was about to expire and went and topped it up during my appointment.I found their equipment very modern and their decor welcoming and clean.
