Golden Dragon Chinese Restaurant

I made an honest mistake regarding ordering, turns out the website was not our local Golden Dragon Chinese and when I realised I rang to apologise and asked for a refund. Could not get a refund even though we live 3 hours away from the restaurant. I told them to pay it forward to someone. Hopefully they will enjoy their Chinese takeaway paid for by a Margaret River local!Not very good customer service for an honest mistake...

ordered a Curry Laksa and a Tom Yum Soup got a Curry powder soup.. was still powdery in the bottom.. almost like a store bought indian curry paste mixed with water. Nothing Laksa about it. the Tom Yum Noodle soup was average, not many noodles but the laksa came with almost a half a container of noodles so I added the spare to my Tom Yum. Wife couldn't eat the Laksa. Delivery time from uber eats quoted 35 mins... we opted to drive to pick up and was still 40 mins.

After an unfortunate issue with our usual Chinese restaurant, I called to ask if they were accepting orders. Complete fluke! So glad we ordered from.this place! Everything we ordered was amazing. My husband who doesn't usually enjoy spice LIVED the ribs. Perfect balance of sweet and spice and didn't over power the rest of the food. The fried rice is simple but delicious. We will be using this as our regular Chinese restaurant!

Save your money, and don’t bother coming here. Ordered chow mein- came with no noodles, honey chicken’ tiny bitesize cubes of dried, rock solid meat. It was awful considering it was so expensive. Perhaps they were having a bad day, but I won’t be returning.

We have had a string of unfortunate experiences with this take away, most common is waiting forever for late orders, despite phoning ahead, followed by incorrect orders, simple mistakes many times and most recently we’ve ordered and $97 worth of food, and we had a surprise surcharge of $1.46 to pay by debit card. Listen up, almost all customers pay by card, businesses enjoy the reduced risks associated with cash. This business has failed to negotiate 0.7% fee, and instead are making their customers pay 1.5%. I feel that you should disclose this to customers when they are ordering, your remaining customers will appreciate you telling them. Then you try and offer free prawn crackers for being such a great customer and giving you bigger orders, we didn’t feel like we are appreciated as customers at all.-2 stars for the string of errors & delays, -1 star for hidden charges for almost all customers.I’m sorry, but for us that is the last straw, we like your food, we like the MSG taste, but we are now done.Please update us if you fix this error as we will be back but only then, maybe do some advertising to win back your old customers

Order took an hour, ordered Tom yum noodle soup for $21 and got a gluggy soup not even worth the $8 on the menu. All in all for two meal paying $85 it was a total disappointment.

Starting with the chicken and sweet corn, it was that sweet that I thought I was eating sweets, yuck! The special fried rice was tasteless and the black pepper chicken was the same. Where have their taste buds gone? This really should be a 0/5 stars review.
