Easily my favourite Filipino restaurant in Melbourne. There’s not that many options at the moment for Filipino cuisine in Melbourne say in comparison to Sydney but Enelssie shines through. Flavours are phenomenal and we love the live music on Friday nights, it just adds to the vibe so much. Have not had a bad dish, everything is fresh and yum. Whenever any of my friends want to try Filo food, this is now my new go to. I just wish they had a closer branch to the CBD but well worth the travel. Don’t be afraid to ask the staff about the food so you can get the best experience while there.

We love good food and have a lot of exposure and experiences with Asian cuisine, having lived in South East Asia as well as the Indian subcontinent.This is one of the best Filo , home style cooking you will get here in Melbourne.We have come here twice for dine in and also a takeaway.Quality is very good whether you dine or as takeaway.The service is always friendly and if something is not as per order, they rectify it without any issue and not grudgingly at all. I think you need to feedback right away rather than later, as it helps everyone and you can still get your cake and eat it too!We love the pork dishes and even the eggplant preparation. Dessert especially mango sago is very fresh and tasty.Highly recommended!This will be one of our regular fixtures for us as a family.

The dishes were undeniably super delicious. They were carefully cooked to make the flavour go down to the core; so tastily rich in flavour. It has achieved the level of real Filipino dishes. I was not impressed with the interior though. The floor was not beautifully polished.

My first time Philippine experience.Absolute no idea what to order.Order from chef’s recommend in the manu. I ordered marinated grilled chicken with garlic rice.The flavour was nice and good portion. Just suggestion from non Philippine back group customer side, if you have more photos of menu, would be appreciated.And please place the price on the sweets.The restaurant is in the middle of residential area.

So we found Enelssie Filipino restaurant tucked away in Burnside Heights. Brought us back to a lot of delicious memories of home-cooked Filipino cuisine. Very welcoming staff including Anthony, the owner. Don't miss out on Pancit, Bagnet and Laing. Delicious!

Highly recommend, we couldn’t fault anything! Sizzling Bulalo & Dinuguan were our favourites, but the Pinakbet was also really good! Will be back to try more for sure!

Okay, before I give my feedback, I would like to say that as a person whose done over 200 google reviews, I don't give out low scores out of spite or personal grudges. So please take my feedback as constructive criticism. Moreover, I can see that this Cafe has a lot to offer and that their high score is justified based on the other reviews. I am simply giving my experience on this one time experience.My experience is simple. I ordered eggs on toast and a coffee. My feedback is that the eggs on toast are well extremely simple. Literally two eggs, two toast with butter, nothing else. Now, I'm okay with the the fact that the dish is simple. But where my criticism comes in is the price. I looked at the menu and it said 11.50. In my mind I thought it was going to be fancy high calibre brunch style eggs on toast. E.g. Maybe some bacon, maybe some cherry tomatoes, maybe some seaseme seeds, maybe some special sauce, maybe really nice thick sourdough toast, maybe salt and pepper, maybe some avacado, maybe something interesting in terms of presentation, just anything extra. Unfortunately, shame on me for thinking that there was something more for the $11.50 price. As seen in my attached photo, it was super plain and simple. I understand cafes need to make their money, I understand that everytime a customer complains about prices the response is always inflation"
