Weilisi Massage

Like other reviewers here I felt disrespected by the provider. I had a previous experience which was better in which I was treated with politeness and received a decent massage from a different man, who barely understood English and didn’t know how to process my health fund rebate, but did the best he could, we figured it out together and he gave me a receipt which I could use to process the rebate online.On my second visit I had to wait five minutes at the door to be served as the reception man was engaged in a long loud conversation or argument with another woman in Chinese. When she finally left I went to ask if he would recommend a 60 min or 30 min appointment for my particular complaint. He seemed angry and impatient that I had question for my treatment/that I didn’t yet know what I wanted, and was very rude. I should have walked away then and there but I was desperate for relief and didn’t have much time to go looking around elsewhere. He gave me the massage and eventually made friendly conversation with me, but during this conversation manage to slip in comments saying that with my amount of tension I must have a bad diet and I clearly don’t go to the gym because I have no muscle mass. (I’m a woman btw. I already told him I have PTSD... if you know anything about holistic health you’d know trauma can put the body in a chronically tense state). Whether this was intended to be helpful advice, I came here to be relaxed not criticised.Lastly I noticed he barely put any pressure on my mid to lower back while rubbing the other areas in a normal and satisfying way. I kept waiting for him to relieve my back. At the end he offered me a cupping treatment for my lower back at the ‘special’ add on rate for an extra $10 and to recommend the treatment for the future. It wasn’t bad but I wonder if he deliberately did not relive my back with massage so as to up-sell. In hindsight I felt generally disrespected in a way that wasn’t necessary and won’t be going back or recommending this place.

Had a good session of acupuncture along with head, neck and shoulder massage with a guy named Danny Chen who seemed to be quite experienced. The hygiene practices are quite good too but the only drawback is that Timezone are the neighbours and hence the noise levels are quite high.

I honestly used to love this place. It was the perfect place to visit for the 10min massage. I have been over 20 times the past year however the last time I went I had this lady (that I have never had before). I asked to lay down for the 10min massage and they are extremely lovely and said yes however the lady massaging me was just squeezing my neck without pressure with one hand and on her phone with the other I could hear her phone vibrating and her typing at the start. I paid for a 10 min massage and she only gave me 7 minutes and it was the WORST MASSAGE OF MY LIFE. I told the ladies at the front desk (which were so nice), they got me to write down my name and number to give to the owner however no one has called since and its been over 3 weeks. So if you want a really good massage the best place I have been to is Chatswood Thai Massage they are beyond amazing!

Update March 2023: Yesterday I had the best chinese massage ever. My right shoulder had been locked and was hard as a rock for months and Amy worked her magic and was able to really target the underlying issues, unlock it and get me moving normally again. No more massive muscle knots and pain when moving. Thanks so much Amy! Note: she did apply cupping briefly to my shoulders, I didn’t mind that as I have cupping done occasionally. But if you don’t want that done, say so before Amy starts.Had a really good massage here and will definitively come back

I walked into the shop and booked in with a female masseur for an hour massage. She told me to come at 4.15pm for an hour remedial massage. After waiting for 1 hour, I returned back to the shop only to find that I have to wait another 90 minutes because the girl decided to do a massage that made her more money, 90 min than my booked one for 60 min. When I questioned, she told me to wait or habe a massage by a male masseur who could barely speak English. When I asked the lady why she did that and changed my appointment when I specifically asked for her due to personal reasons, the man made face at me and laughed. The girl had no integrity to even apologise or keep my appointment time and the man didn't say a word but his rudness and body language with the laughter was enough for me to walk away from the store. Happy to pay another place and get a massage than where humans are not respected for their time. The business may be whatever but certainly they don't keep their word nor take responsibility of their actions.

Absolutely disappointing. Apparently the owner was there while I was getting a massage and he spoke for the entire 45 min pretty loud which made it impossible to relax. I asked the lady if she could ask the owner to be quiet and she said no. So I stopped the massage short and told the owner that was pretty disrespectful to talk so loudly when people want a relaxing massage. Then what made it worse I asked if they could claim my health fund and they said no as the “lady” who does it wasn’t there. I told them before hand I wanted to claim on health fund as I chose the remedial massage (health care rebate). I asked for the receipt and they also declined to provide it. Will not be going back.

I spent an hour just to be relaxed and walked out stressed with spoiled mood.Massage place is good and clean but the only issue is the workers doesn’t understand English at least they should have someone at reception who understand English.The lady on the reception did not know how to claim from insurance card and kept saying it’s declined, basically she was taping insurance card as debit card, she did not understand what I was saying and explaining and in return she was talking something in her language which sounded very rude. After a while I managed to explain her I want to claim from my card she charged $5 extra and + 1.5% extra while paying rest on card(which is understandable) total I ended up paying $10 extra for 1hr.Definitely will think twice before walking in again.
