Wow wow and wow. I visited this store on 11/03/2023 around 6ish pm. I was feeling a little sad & wanted to find some cheap half dead plants to try to bring back to life. Well I did exactly that. There garden department is awesome. The young man helped me with everything I needed to find. All the staff were helpful and friendly. When I walked out & showed my ticket the man at the door offered to help me push my trolley and unload it into my car probably becauae I was crashing into things lol. Never have I had such amazing customer service as I did there yesterday. I was super impressed as i work in sales/retail myself so I know how important it is to look after the customer. I will be back to this store for sure!! Old fashioned service just love it.

Generally very good usually, HOWEVER on this occasion we attended the plant/outdoor entrance, as we parked in that disabled parking (as we were disabled) and needed bags of soil. When we went in there were NO trolleys available to us hence which necessitated us then to attend the main entrance to collect a trolley. The storey does not end there, we sourced our the bags we required and headed for the rear checkout which was obviously closest. The bags and trolley were heavy and difficult to manoeuvre, a job which we can perform, all issues being concerned, HOWEVER for some unforeseen the staff were carrying out watering a large number of areas and in so doing the hoses were lying throughout the area in general, hence this action made the movement of the heavy trolley almost impossible as the trolley would not go over the hose thus causing an amount of anxiety and effort.After negotiating these issues got to the payout when at which time after paying and got to the entrance gate we noticed we had been double charged for an item. We returned to that checkout and were advised the overcharge could not be corrected at that that checkout" and we were that informed we had to attend the MAIN checkout at the main entrance (AGAIN)

Huge store that one can find literally anything needed for the house! Plenty of parking lots outside the store. Besides the indoor area with countless isles, there is also a drive-through lane for larger stuff, and an open area for plants. Some smaller items were mix up at different boxes so becarefull to read the labels in order to get the right price else it would be a hassle to get a refund.

This is called service… 5 star is not enough…. I bought Bunnings kids birthday pack and wanted to know if they sell any costumes for kids. The lady I spoke Maria she arranged some kids vest and T-shirt and kept it for me. Definitely it makes my son’s birthday extra special. Thanks Maria

I would like to thank Tara from the In store Kitchen Expect team for her excellent service and expertise on the kitchen renovation matters. It was our first time doing kitchen renovations. Tara gave us a lot of advices and throughly went to the materials and design possibilities with us during the appointment. She made sure we walked away with a complete kitchen design we were looking for at the least costs possible. We couldn’t thank her enough for making a stressful renovation such a great experience! Seem to lack staff, its a struggle to find anyone to help as of late.A lot of items listed on the website (under the same store selected online) as available are not there. Staff check instore inventory at the counter saying 10+ items in stock and they are nowhere to be found - have had this happen a few times with multiple items - make a waste going to bunnings

I don't give many low grade comments but it's the second time I have been over charged for and item and had to return to this place for a refund. The worst part about it was I pointed out the marked down item at the register she scanned it corrected it but the correct price was not the marked down price and its happened twice. I tell them it's marked down and they hike up the mark down price , the first time they tried to say it wasn't marked down I took the guy to where the same items as mine were marked down , he told them at the register sorry yep it's marked down and he not only charged me the mark down price he then charged me again for the same item at full price and didn't take off the first full price that alerted me to say oh sorry that's marked down, so I ended up paying 2 full price and one mark down price for one item , totally purposely done

Whenever I go there the self serve checkout is closed 90% of the time. So you have to wait in line for the single checkout operator to process the queue.Also there is always small groups of staff standing around chatting about their weekend, or whatever, you can never find someone in the area you are looking to assist you. If you do happen to interrupt the chat session you get the reluctant person, with the why am I being interrupted eye roll, that usually cannot help without the I/N code. Then when you ask a question about its use or what options they don’t have a clue.As with all Bunnings stores they should have experienced trades people to assist as know that they have a product if you ask for it is not the same as talking to someone experienced that gets what you’re doing and what you’re after and can make recommendations.I understand that young people need jobs, but Bunnings used to be the place you went to and spoke to an older person with some trade background and life experience to be able to assist the shopper that is not too sure what they need. In other words (to Bunnings as a whole), please bring back the more experienced older people
