The Team of Sofia for my hair and Susan Napper (@SusanNapperMakeupArtist) for my makeup made a huge contribution to making me feel a million dollars on my big day as Mother of the Groom. That they both came to my apartment was a big bonus.As a person who does very little in the way of hairstyling, it was great that Sofia quickly understood me" and nailed my hairstyle perfectly

Sofia is fantastic. She did hair and makeup for both me and my groom and we were so happy with the results. Sofia completely understood the look I was after and all of her suggestions made it better than I could have imagined.So firstly in terms of skill, the look was great and lasted ALL day, I didn't need to do any touch ups other than lips, which is amazing. My hair never holds a curl, but Sofia made it happen and they were still in good shape the next day! Unheard of for my stubbornly straight, fine hair!Secondly there is all the other stuff that goes into a great experience with a professional. Sofia was easy to communicate with, punctual etc, but probably most importantly was just a delightful person to be around. The first time we met for my trial she had already been working all day but I had no idea because she did not appear even slightly tired. The day of my wedding was a very early start and she was just as bright and bubbly as though it wasn't still dark outside!I would 100% recommend Sofia and will definitely be using her services in future.

I hired Sofia to do hairstyling and makeup for myself and hairstyling for my daughter for a very special event. She was an absolute delight to deal with and the results were everything we wanted. Nothing was a problem and she made absolutely sure that we were happy with everything before she left. We will definitely be engaging her services again. Highly recommend!

Sofia did my hair and make up for a friends wedding back in 2019, and I felt like a million bucks! I just knew that come my turn, she was the one I wanted for my own wedding day.I contacted Sofia early in the planning process, and she was communicative, responsive and friendly. Come trial day, she worked with me to create what I wanted, and I really felt like she listened to my needs. I wanted to look bridal but natural, with my freckles shining through. Her work on my make up base was perfection. My skin was glowing!Come wedding day, her and her colleague Christie were punctual, relaxed and fun. We were ready ahead of schedule, and we were able to casually enjoy a yummy cocktail that she prepared for us!My mum, bridesmaid and I were all really happy with the results!Would HIGHLY recommend.

I recently undertook Sofia's Braiding for Beginners Masterclass. It was both rewarding and challenging. I was able to fine tune skills I already had, and develop new skills. I left feeling much more confident with what I could achieve. The way Sofia teaches feels very tailored to the individual - her focus wasn't about following a script but adapting what she was teaching to my needs and wants. She wanted to troubleshoot my problem areas specifically to build my confidence rather than just follow a plan, which I appreciated. She is generous with her time and knowledge, and has patience. She also provides a very hands-on experience in a practical teaching style so you are following along step by step, getting guidance on the spot and in the moment. I enjoyed it a lot!

I used Sofia and her team for hair and make up for my wedding in October. I was after something a little different to the pictures on Sofia's social pages, and she delivered beautifully. Sofia is intent on creating a look that works for the individual - doing a trial really helped with the process. In addition, Sofia is great at managing her (and our) time and had three of us ready for a morning wedding, looking fabulous! I highly recommend Sofia Leigh Bridal.

Jeanette did my hair and makeup for my wedding. She was professional, was super organised and an amazing job for both. She did curls for my hair and they stayed in which is rare. My makeup stayed on day/ night and felt light even with the heat in Byron Bay. Lastly, she assisted me with other duties outside of this which was unexpected, however i couldn't of done it without her. Highly recommend.
