The Nut
This is a must do on your bucket list. The chairlift up and down is recommended. The 2km walk around the top of the Nut was awesome. Recommend walking clockwise at the top when leaving the chairlift because you avoid walking up steps. Instead you’re walking down steps. Much easier. Yes it was windy but the views were spectacular. Highly recommended for people of all ages.

Went last week. Chair lift was not operating, walked up, it was VERY steep. Nice view at the top with a circuit track and a few seats. Bit of wind. Little signs for the kids to answer questions, however no answers shown. The shop had some good souvenirs and staff were very friendly. Be prepared for sore legs the next day if walking up and back.

Awesome experience, specially the walk towards to mountain and within the mountain was superb, and we cans through chairlift. It’s a very steep walk but too good experience with some unexceptional amazing views.

Such a scenic location especially on a clear day. Recommend jumping on the chair-lift on the way up. Complete the around 40 min walk on the top. The Nut offers complete 360 degree views.Bathrooms and cafe are located at the bottom of the chairlift.Steep pathway to walk down on the return if you don’t want to take the chairlift down.

Driving into Stanley , you see this amazing rock or piece of earth. You have two options , you can take the chair lift or walk. I encourage you to walk, it’s a great reward once you get to the top. The view is stunning. I did this walk twice , once in the afternoon, second , first thing in the morning. Both times I saw Wallaby’s- beautiful. The track is marked out and is easy. 100% worth it . A very happy place . The morning walk had no one in it . Truly Beautiful

Search for the nut access track" to get to the starting point. You can take the chairlift up (I think it's about $17 return or $11 one way for adults) or take the zigzag route up

Absolutely stunning view thats out of this world! Definitely worth it to either take the Chairlift or hike your way up while enjoying the breeze and sounds of nature.

Beautiful place with a lot of great sceneries. Spotted a lot of pademelons. Super windy on the top and if you are doing the circuit on the top, definitely check the weather before you go. Literally you cannot walk with strong winds on the top.

Took the chair lift up and back. The lady at the top wasn't very friendly and it seemed a bit of an inconvenience for her to help you. The other lady smiled and was friendly. If you do the circuit walk, do yourself a favour and go clockwise. Most people seem to do it the other way, but it is much harder due to steps and hills. The view from the lookouts in beautiful. Make sure to use the toilet before going up.We didn't eat in the shop below.

Amazing walk and excellent view no the top. The first 400m is a steep climb and after that just an easy circuit around the top of The Nut.
