Rosebud Saw Service

Being a female and walking into a shop like this was quite nerve wracking, but as soon as i stepped in, I was kindly greeted and was asked if there was anything they could help with. I told the staff what i was after and they went through all of the options to see what best suited my needs. They also went through and demonstrated how to use the blower more than once until i understood and didn't make me feel like an inconvenience. I will definatley be back for their service.-Jennifer G

Very disappointed. Brought an item in for service, paid $125 and it came back doing exactly the same thing - cutting out at idle. Returned it and no better. Still cutting out and now engine is revving up and down.Furthermore the machine, while a few years old was in excellent shape, it came back looking like its been through the war. I didn't believe it was the same saw and had to confirm the serial number. The housing was scratched, damaged and marked. I took a video of the item before going in to show how it was cutting out so I it was possible to see the condition of the unit. When I showed the guy at the counter the video of the unit that went in compared to the unit that was returned, he just shrugged his shoulders.Sorry guys but your service has gone down hill. While you're walking distance from home, I'm now driving to Mornington.

Good friend of mine bought a defective chainsaw and took it back 1 day after purchase to be rudely treated and belittled. would not offer a full refund and kept 20% of the purchase price. The owner even tried the saw and realised it didn't work but didn't care. Would not recommend this store to anyone who would like customer service or follow up support!! Only left one star as you cant post a review without any stars

Disappointing! I dropped off my chainsaw for a simple service. It was there for more than a month before I called to check its status, and it still hadn’t been done. After feeding me the usual “we’ll get right on it”, I called the following day, and it still hadn’t been done. A bit of communication and customer courtesy would go a long way. If you can’t do the job, don’t accept the work.

I sent this place an email to inquire about tool sharpening. They were prompt with responding. I then sent my elderly mother to get her garden shears sharpened and she was thrilled with their sharpening service. Thank you so much!

Brand new $430 snipper that needs 10 pulls to start and has a delayed throttle response was apparently all perfectly normal according to the smug bloke behind the counter. Husqvarna store is just around the corner for anyone wondering

Three weeks for a chain replacement and minor service, still not done. Extremely condescending customer service from Ben and rude to boot. My husband was a loyal customer before his passing in October. Less than impressed.

I wish I had had the good sense to have read the reviews before giving our mower to Rosebud Saw Service. When your employee submits a 5 star review on your website, it should tell you something about the business. We dropped off the mower and emailed a copy of the receipt for warranty purposes in June. They said it would take 3 weeks for the parts to arrive. Then we had the battle of disputing the warranty even after we called the manufacturer who told us that as the mower was under 2 years old we would be entitled to have it repaired and they couldn’t understand why Rosebud Saw Service was disputing this as they would receive renumeration from them. 2 months later we received our first call from them to tell us that our mower was repaired. We get it home and use it for 30 minutes and then it starts leaking oil!! Lack of communication on their behalf certainly needs to be addressed as does their repair work. Don’t get your employees to write reviews - it doesn’t look professional. The female employee really needs to learn about handling customers but I suppose if you have received many complaints you would condition yourself to become defensive. Here’s a comparison between this business and another repair we had done. It took 2 days (yes, you read that right - 2 DAYS) for a truck manufacturer to get a new motor for our truck and install it. I think you should follow their business practice if you want to attract new or retain current customers. As for us...we won’t be back.
