Astra Pool Care

Astra have been looking after our pool for a few years now, servicing it every fortnight with chemical adjustments as required, and mechanical repairs to equipment when needed. They are reliable and friendly, always contactable when problems arise, and take appropriate initiative to deal with problems in a timely fashion. Whenever I've sought their advice it has always been sensible and helpful. Highly recommended.

Beware avoid this firm! we hired these guys to look after our pool on a monthly basis. We had our pool repainted in Nov 2017 and these guys were supposed to be looking after it. Every month throughout the summer they added 3-6 kg of buffer each time they came, and still the alkalinity was so low (5 when it should be over 100) that it has completely ruined the brand new paint in less than a year. The pool is a cloudy mess, the walls of the pool are furry and I am out most of $10K. Yet I never heard a word from these guys that the levels were low and they were unable to keep them in the normal range. When the winter came they just stopped coming and told us nothing about the low levels, so when we fully opened the pool in the spring it was a trainwreck. Downright negligent service (if there is something persistently wrong with something you are responsible for tending on a regular basis you should mention it at some point). When I asked them for records of what the levels had been when they came so I could track and understand what the levels were and had been over time, they completely ignored me. I sent multiple emails, called repeatedly, ZERO word back. I am sorely tempted to sue.

Paul is a legend, has sorted out numerous problems for me always providing great honest advice and excellent results. Awesome astra pool care is great business that I would highly recommend
