Jackie is an amazing teacher and is always so thoughtful and dedicated in any task that she is doing. She pays attention to every detail- big or small, and always teaches with a lot of encouragement! I have really enjoyed having Jackie as my piano teacher since she has taken me a long way, and has taught me so many new skills to help improve my piano playing. Jackie always strives to bring the best out of her students, and she has pushed me to be able to achieve the best in every piece that I play! Jackie is currently preparing me for Associate Diploma in Music exam. I've tried lessons with a few other teachers before I found Sharp Music Academy and none of them was as passionate as Jackie is.Jackie is very musical and thorough teacher, she really taught me how to listen to the music I play and create something beautiful.As a working adult I find her to be very easy going and flexible when it comes to scheduling lessons. How lucky it is to have Jackie as my two daughters' piano teacher! Jackie's teaching is very inspiring and effective for young children. My elder daughter, Ivy, used to learn piano from two teachers. Savannah, my younger daughter, started learning piano with Jackie. Ivy insisted to have Jackie as her piano teacher after she observed Savannah's piano lesson only once. She had lost interest in piano and played without any passion before that. However, when she was watching Savannah's lesson, she was so fascinated that she stood up throughout the whole lesson without complaining tired. Her love for piano was suddenly inspired by that lesson and has been lasting till now. Jackie is able to adapt various strategies to assist children to learn some difficult skills more easily and faster. She plays games, acts out and tells stories to help children understand the music they are playing. For example, when she was teaching my daughters how to use pedals, she sat on the floor and pressed their foot with her hand in order to make them feel the pedal in the right way and learn the skill.

We knew Jackie from a friend. She is very creative and passionate in teaching and always can find a way to sort out issues for my daughter. She is very good at select right pieces for students. My daughter and I always enjoy her lessons!

We first found Jackie in 2017 and have been with her forever since. Jackie is a very dedicated teacher, she is so passionate about piano and there's so much fun, love and care in her lessons. Jackie works really hard with her students in making beautiful music, the amount of time, efforts, love, care and support she has for us is just beyond words.
