Honestly, not the best cafe food I have had, BUT, for a nice pause amongst a busy shopping centre this place is great. Service is exceptional, coffee is good, atmosphere is comfortable whilst feeling like you are not still in the hustle of the centre. I asked to alter one of their menu items and they were very accommodating and coffee was quick. Special mention for the service from Tanya (spelling may be off). She is a gem and a warm welcoming host in this cafe.

Very disappointed in the staff member at belmont shingle inn. who didn’t think it was necessary to clear my table before serving my food. I found it amusing that she cleared empty tables and left mine. I did call out but no one heard me so I decided to clear the table myself as I approached her I told her I was very disappointed that noone cleared my table before serving me no apologies from Mell who needs a crash course in customer service. Part of dining out is enjoying the experience it’s added in the cost when you pay your paying for service, most waiters and waitresses don’t seem to know this. I literally paid to be I ignored and to eat on a messy table shocking!

Lovely dining experience. Friendly customer service, fast and efficient. Food was delicious, coffee was good, relaxing atmosphere. Caters for lactose free, gluten free, vegetarian and there even some vegan options. Wheelchair accessible.

We ordered a late lunch to share and got a steak sandwich.How sad were we when we but into our steak sandwich!Steak was the thinnest piece of rubber I've ever had the misfortune to bite into. The salad component was ok, but the Turkish bread was dry beyond belief.We alerted this to the service staff who advised they would feed it back to the kitchen and that's the last we heard about it.It will also be the last time we ever visit too!

My husband and I went in for a breakfast a couple of days ago and it was amazing!! Eggs Benedict with bacon. It was HUGE and delicious and coffee was good too! Lovely friendly staff and spoke with the lady chef to thank her. It was a breakfast to remember. Thank you all x

I stumbled across this place by mistake after taking my kids out to brunch in Belmont Forum. We live in the back suburbs so are unfamiliar for this place. Well, the food was absolutely delicious! And the staff were so lovely to my kids. There was a young male worker who waited on us, and he was not only very friendly with my children but also very efficient. And, the coffee was wonderful too! Thankyou Shingel Inn, will most definitely be back!

I was greeted by friendly staff, the Cafe was spotless not a speck of dust. My coffee was delicious and the milk was very nicely frothed.I only got a raisin toast but enjoyed that too.Food and drinks came out really quickly. Lots of comfortable seating with armchairs and boothsHighly recommend.

Terrible coffee and over priced menu items.Pancakes for $16 consist of 3 small dry pancakes, a drizzle of syrup that you can hardly taste and a tiny scoop of vanilla ice cream.Save your money and go get hotcakes from Macca's. Tastier and cheaper, plus their coffee is also better.Last time I visit any Shingle Inn. rubbish franchise cafes!
