Highly recommend North Hobart Veterinary Hospital- special thanks to Dr Mei Russel who was very professional, accommodating and caring, the best vet I have ever met. I’m sure my cat was in good hand whenever she visited. I really appreciate that Dr Mei has provided the best treatment for my cat.Also, there is a separate waiting area for my cat to stay away from bigger animals.

We couldn’t ask for a better team to look after our dogs. My older dog is quite reactive & it’s been a journey getting him the support he needs. Everyone we come into contact with at NHV is a dream - really supportive, actively work with him & his needs, and never make me feel like it’s a problem. The vets are always great to chat to, knowledgeable and everyone genuinely cares about the pets (and their owners!). Reception staff are just an A+++ team. I really can’t recommend them more highly & know many others who think the same.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. We have been taking our dog there for close to three years, and they have been great each time. Unfortunately, we recently had to have our dog put down, and the vets and clinic staff were so very supportive throughout the whole heartbreaking process.

We are more than happy to do the hours drive to this clinic. They treat our little fur baby with so much love and affection right from the time we walk in the door. The personal touch we receive from the receptionists to the vet themselves is way beyond just being a business to treat animals.

Friendly and helpful reception staff who have gone out of their way to arrange check ups and answer stressed phone calls.Really attentive vets, who have been great at balancing owner concerns, pet comfort and choosing investigations wisely.My dog has been able to see a vet a short notice for slightly more urgent issues which has been a big relief.Pricing has been reasonable - 5 medications, an eye examination and minor non-sedated eye procedure for ~$350, but this will obviously vary.All round lovely team!

Thank you to the lovely vet that helped me with my dear elderly cat when he crossed the rainbow bridge. They gave him fluffy blankets to lay in and allowed me to hold him in his final moments. They gave me a lovely candle to light in his honour that night.They were so kind and caring and understanding. They made such a difficult situation as easy as possible for me.Thank you very much. I will be bringing all my animals here from now on.

We moved to Hobart with out 16 year old dog, who had a number of health issues. We found the entire team at North Hobart Veterinary Hospital to be incredible. Their level of care and compassion and attention to detail were easily the best we had every experienced, and we've gone through many vets over the years. Even after our little boy passed, their kindness and sincere care for us, was humbling. We recommend this team above all else.
