Da Rin Optometrist Newmarket

Fantastic service & competitively priced lenses & frames. I was assessed & custom fitted with a very nice pair of glasses for around $350 after health fund rebate. Lots of designer brands to choose from.

I am Jean Kelly, a visitor from South Africa. This afternoon I called at Da Rin Optometrist, Newmarket, needing urgent assistance. One of the lenses in my spectacles had fallen out. I was greatly reassured by the helpful response of the Optical Dispenser, Mitchell Johnson. He worked patiently to sort out the problem and as a bonus replaced the screws as well as the nose pads. I feel confident that his careful workmanship will ensure that my spectacles will remain in good order for the remainder of my visit. Imagine my surprise and gratitude when Mitchell told me that as I am a visitor he would not charge me for the work he had done. He had spent at least half an hour dealing with my problem. I am truly grateful. What friendly and helpful service!

Took my son for a routine checkup which was seamless.The optometrist noticed I had an irritated eye and offered to have a look. He proceeded to diagnose and treat me while giving a succinct, practical explanation and treatment plan which worked a treat. Really pleasant experience all round. Thanks!!

I am so happy with the service and communication. My 4 now 5 years old needed glasses, but she has a thin head. Mitch found exactly the style she and I were after. Unfortunately, 3 months later, we lost the pair of glasses, still no clue where they went. Mitch has been super professional and understanding, while I was stressed out and frustrated. We had a new pair a week after and my girl is so happy. Highly recommend.

I’ve been meaning to write a review for Da Rin for some time and finally getting around to it. I don’t often write reviews but I couldn’t speak more highly of Darren and the team. Exceptional service, knowledge and care. On two occasions specifically I’ve had some worrying issues with my eyes and contact lense use. Darren has squeezed me in to his busy day and provided such a thorough assessment and treatment. My issue cleared up within 24hrs. Complete trust and highly recommend! Thanks Darren and team.
