We went there for a birthday celebration lunch.The cesar salad was poor, the key ingredients were missing. No parmesan cheese and no sauce.Burgers were terrible, they were served with cheap bread.The chips were served with no sauce.The overall quality of the food was poor and over priced for what it was.We will never go back again.

Extremely disappointed - initially we had an extremely undercooked steak, got it sent back and then it was over but by that time I was too non-confrontational to say anything more. Beyond that, the steak was so salty that it was painful. I'm no chef, but I've cooked marbled steak at home the was 10 times as good. I get that things are hard in the kitchen sometimes but we were the only table there and to struggle so hard to get something out palatable for a single table was disappointing for a top 100 steak house". One of our table members hates wasting food and ate everything we couldn't even though it was clearly one of our worst steaks this year

First time trying Butcher & Vine in Hampton. I've been to their Hawthorn restaurant, and I do think I like it here better. The service was good. The food was good. It's modern and nice inside (albeit a little dark) and I highly recommend it.You can't go past the salmon entree if you're a fan of salmon. It is HEAVEN. I'm not a steak person, so I stuck to having a burger. I had the chicken one, which .... I wasn't a big fan of. The cheese didn't even melt over the other ingredients and it was honestly just meh. But everyone who ordered steak loved theirs, and that's what you come here for. Also, I think the pricing is reasonable for what you get, so that's a positive as well.With all of that said, I do like it here. They're open every day from lunch onwards, so you can always find a good time to go.

I loved the Hawthorn restaurant and decided we had to try the restaurant at Hampton.Definitely did not disappoint. Loved it !! Best Steaks ever! I won’t be trying to cook a steak at home again when Butcher & Vine can cook it so much better than myself

Came here for a change and really wanted a good serving of quality meat. That's what we got! There are so many varieties of meat but generally in the upper quality range. The meat was quality, tender and cooked exactly as we wanted. The peppercorn sauce is very tasty. Try it!. This place is now a definite go-to for me when I want a good quality steak. Also the staff are on point knowing when to come to your table, and clearing old dishes or glasses just at the right timeGreat place for a nice couples meal or get together with a group. It's generally a low level volume place but if you want more quiet you can book to sit at the back away from the front closest to the road and door.Wish I took photos of the steak but before I realised I could be writing this it was half eaten!Did I mention the dessert was also really nice. I think it was a form of cheese cake (I didn't order it but I did share)!

Had dinner here on Saturday night, absolutely delicious and tender steak exactly what we were after.Besides the steak being cooked to absolute perfection the sides and sauce were to die for.Service was excellent and they happily catered for my wife as she is pregnant.Atmosphere was fun and energetic inside with plenty of room so if you're looking for this type of environment than this is definitely the place for you.Furthermore there was a bar out the back that had its own bar menu, unfortunately I didn't get a chance to look at the menu but the bar itself had plenty of room with a generous amount of seats. (Perfect for a private function, if they do them there).To sum it up perfect steaks and perfect venue.

Great experience and felt very looked after from start to finish.Good quality steak, cooked exactly as ordered.Chef came to personally check all was enjoyed.Highly recommend!

Great place. Great food. Delicious saganaki. Steak was cooked perfectly. Best espresso Martinis. Unfortunately forgot to take photos of our meal. Fantastic service. Will definitely be back

A great spot for you carnivores who loves a great steak cooked to perfection. I love the window of meat selections, they show you the good stuff for you to pick. They have a good variety of items on the menu, kids menu included and it's not going to cost you an arm and leg if you bring the kids along either.
