Ordered 6 fish cocktails and chips. Food is fresh and excellent quality. Was about a 20-minute wait. Paid $18. Very little chips. Not big enough serving for what money you pay.

Ordered the fish and chips. Generous portion size. Fish was very good. Chips were average. Lots of condiments, but missing sauce cups. Enjoyable meal.

Really yummy local fish and chips. I had the whiting on a recommendation and was not dissapointed, my wifes grilled Barra was also well cooked. The location is great and if you are in the area I would highly recommend.

So even though we only wanted 1 potato cake you had to order two. They weren't very good either. Chips were ok. Hamburger was good and I would recommend it. Very tasty. We ordered over the phone to speed things up but this didn't seem to make much difference. A very popular place with the locals and set opposite a river view park which is very nice. Was too windy when we were there unfortunately. Not much choice for takeaway apart from this place.

Bit of a mixed bag today, calamari and squid were top notch. Fish and chips a little less so.Family certainly enjoyed the food, so not a negative. We spent about $80 across four adults and two children and no one went hungry!!!We also attempted to stop in yesterday but a customer out the front said he had been waiting 40 minutes. Perhaps try and be flexible for this one…

Absolutely recommend having a serve of fish and chips here. Decent serve and lovely. Not over cooked at all was perfect. Staff are great too. Sit outside at their tables or walk across the road and eat by the river.

Thank you Hook N Cook for this awesome meal that we had. It was super delicious and fresh !!! The fish was crispy and the chips omw so delicious with the chicken salt spice. Staff super friendly and helpful.

Grab a quick bite while enjoying a view of the river across the road.Quick service, plenty of options, and cooked to order. Portions were good for the price paid. Would recommend if you need something quick.
