I faced horrible experiences with the nursing department during diploma but teachers were lovely selectively .Bachelor of Nursing been amazing, great teachers and efforts from them even being impacted by COVID 19. Personally , like to thank you ANN( Nursing co ordinator ) and course co-ordinator of each year for understanding the situation. It was a great experience being with holmesglen Moorabbin since 2017.Thank you so much

Littery unprofessional people. They booked me and my friend for lab technicians in end of February session.I have done all online formalities even I have to pass their test...I spent more than 2 hours on it.Afterthat someone call and inform me that there is no more seats for you because seats are full.Rediclious.They waste my 3 months.

If you're thinking about studying at Holmesglen Moorrabbin, I highly recommend it! When I was pursuing my cert III in pathology, I had the pleasure of learning from the most exceptional teachers. Tracey Ryan and Kinjal Joshi, I want to express my gratitude for the compassion and dedication you showed towards me and your other students. You went above and beyond to ensure that we comprehended the course material and that we were able to overcome any challenges we faced. Your expertise and commitment to teaching are unparalleled, and I am truly grateful for the knowledge and skills you imparted to me. Thank you both for being the best teachers I've ever had!

Cooking Demonstration : Tastes of Spain (held from 6- 8pm). Easy to get to and excellent onsite parking.Absolutely delicious. Conducted by Chef Javier from Le Cordon Bleu, assisted by 4 of his intermediate students, this was a memorable and delightful cooking demonstration and tasting. The facilities used were a demonstration lecture room with raised seating and clear sight lines with large video screens for detailed viewing. There were maybe 45 in the audience and questions were welcomed at all times. On the menu were:Ceviche served in a squid ink rice cracker with soured tapioca pearl caviar;Seafood Paella;Sweet taco with guacamole icecream, fruit salsa, candied chili, lime, and white chocolate cream drizzle.Every step was explained and/or demonstrated from soup stock preparation through to the various recipes and processes for the dish garnishes.Charming chef and students with delicious outcomes ... I'll definitely be going to more of these community events. And my friends and I will be booking into the institute's on campus restaurent Cilantro" for more of the same quality food."

I did my Pathology course here and it was amazing. My teachers were very helpful and interactive, and did their best to keep things running smoothly during the peak of COVID. I ended up getting a job in pathology before completing my placement and i attribute that to my awesome class and teachers.I will be coming back to this TAFE to complete another course this year, and i expect more good experiences

Do not ever enrol in this institute. They don’t care about your mental health at all. They just want their fee no matter how what you are going through. I got covid and I’ve been treated like a third world person by this institute. Absolute waste of money and no education at all.

This is the worst place to study. I am a nursing student at Moorabbin Campus. You have to wait for months to get your placements. There are some teachers who are supportive, but unit chair and course coordinator do not help you no matter what you are going through. They play with your mental health. This place is hell for international students. I do not recommend anyone to join this institute, specially if you are an international student. It is a waste of time and money. I want to give them 0 stars.

I came here around 2009 to finish some of my class studies and from what I remember it was an okay environment for what it was but the size of the place is sometimes overwhelming in trying to find your classroom here. The campus did have a pretty good eatery as well (a nice Strikers II 1945 arcade game as well back then!) which I guess was my favourite place of the whole campus as well. Getting here from Moorabbin train station was always as clear either but I guess that's changed with Navman GPS now?! Moorabbin station did have a pretty good tuck shop and the Subway (if it's still even there was good as well). But from what I'm reading, it looks like Holmesglen Moorabbin has fallen wayside due toxicity work practices which is pretty common these days sadly. Well atleast when I was there it was pretty good?! And my late mother went there too back in 1996 and it was Swinburn back in those days and she told me it was fantastic back in her time. Looks like as the the decades roll on, things get worse than better here and we're always filled with the opposite lie otherwise. I'd give the tafe a lower score but because of throwback memories, I'll keep it 3 stars but I think as of now it probably deserves 2 from the stories I've heard about this place now...I wonder if Moorabbin Harvey Norman store is still there?!..
