Ted's Cameras Pacific fair

NEVER get your disposable photos developed here! No guarantee they won’t LOSE YOUR FILM! I’d give zero stars if I could! I bought a disposable camera from Ted’s Cameras Pacific Fair for my best friends wedding. I then went back to the store to get the film developed. 3 weeks had passed and I hadn’t heard a thing about my photos being ready. I went into store to ask about it - they took 10mins to even find my file/name on their system, with the staff member saying how “old school” their systems actually are. They couldn’t tell me if my film had left their Pacific Fair store, nor if it had reached their Maroochydore store / business where they get them developed. All they could find was the day I dropped off the film. They assured me they would follow up on the next business day and would give me a call. 4 days had passed and I heard nothing. I returned to the Pacific Fair store to enquire again - and the response I got straight up was “yeah, it’s been lost. We have no idea where it is”. No phone call letting me know this at all. They had ZERO documentation of the process. They had ZERO empathy. I had to request a refund. Was offered no other compensation for their error. Even more disappointing than losing my photos, was the unprofessional manner in which my whole situation was handled. Far from impressed.

I went into the store with my son who was looking to purchase a camera. I think the young guy who served us was Tom… I was so impressed with his knowledge and professionalism… I became interested in a camera and I walked out with canon r 50 limited edition kit! I would definitely recommend this store.

I came in to get SD cards and batteries for my Fuji XT-5.Phil was great and really accommodating and showed me all his photos from his Fuji. It's great when you are served by someone that is passionate about your gear as much as you are!Cheers!

10 stars for Phil. I came in a few months ago looking for my first real camera. I was looking at either a M50, Nikon Z fc or Olympus E10 but was pretty ignorant at the time. Phil suggested I should look at the Fuji xt30ii. I’m so glad he did, I love the camera and Phil is a legend for pointing me in that direction. I’m very grateful, thanks for the help Phil !

Ordered a used D90 body on 10 Jan, arrived on 16 Jan. The parcel included a manual, additional handling book, battery charger and battery (which was dead though, but then I just ordered the camera body).The D90 body was in splendid condition, I actually found out that my previous D90 body had a slight AF misalignment ... couldn't get any better really.As I am very familiar with the D90 I have no serious need for the books, though it shows the excellent mind set of the staff at Ted's Cameras. Highly recommended.

Fantastic.I've been to this store numerous times and every staff member I've dealt with is friendly, polite and helpful, but hats off to Phil - the epitome of old school service. He took the time to understand what I wanted, and then put together a package that ticked every requirement.Several weeks later I'm enjoying my new camera, and have finally been able to get the definition I was after in my pics.Highly recommend this store.

The service I received from Teds Camera House at Pacific Fair was second to none. I am an older person that has not really kept up with a lot of emerging technologies etc. This great team got me through this most comfortably and continue to provide me with ongoing support. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this business 5+ stars.

Phil is a life saver. All of the staff are friendly and they were able to help me get a present for my friend in just in time. Definitely the best camera store I have ever been to. Will always go here for my camera needs.

I have visited Ted’s on multiple occasions and been served by Jason, Phil, Pauline and Shawn (as well as a couple of other people briefly but I didn’t catch their names!) and had a delightful experience every time. There is no comparison when it comes to customer service nor their experience. These guys know what they’re talking about and provide unbiased recommendations based on what you want and your budget. After my experience with them I won’t get my gear anywhere else.
